Rannor wanted to answer, but before he could, a black silhouette appeared in front of him.

"You're slow, Rannor."

Rannor froze. He imdiately knelt in midair and lowered his head toward Olivia.

"I'm sorry, Master. The queen is strong."

"Excuses," Olivia said. "I didn't ask you to beat her."

The Soul Insect Queen's eyes narrowed the mont she saw Olivia.

Dread overwhelm here.

With her sharp soul sense, she understood what Olivia was.

This was not soone she could bargain with. Fighting Olivia ant death. Even escaping would be death.

Without hesitation she made her decision.

The Soul Insect Queen's body bulged.

Her centipede segnts tensed as she prepared to self-destruct and transfer her soul to another princess body on another planet.

Olivia's aura spread out.

The space around the Soul Insect Queen locked.

The queen's body stopped.

Not only her movent. Even her blood felt like it stopped flowing.

Her soul trembled as if every thread of her existence had been pinned to a wall.

Forget suicide. Even taking a breath beca a problem.

Alex and Mingyue watched from far away.

They couldn't sense it clearly, but they could see it.

The Soul Insect Queen, who was raging a second ago, suddenly looked like she had been turned into a statue.

Alex's eyes narrowed. "So she's the one nad Olivia. With her height and eye color, I'm sure she's not the one we know."

"Isn't that obvious?" Mingyue replied. "Last news we got, Olivia was following your mother with the other ex-mbers of Suzaku Guild. There's no way she's here. And that level of power…"

Mingyue's gaze turned excited.

Her fingers flexed as if she wanted to jump down and test herself.

Alex frowned. "Calm down, Mingyue. If she feels our presence, it'll be troubleso."

Mingyue took a deep breath and forced herself to settle, but her eyes were still filled with fighting intent.

Below them, Olivia looked down at the Soul Insect Queen like she was staring at trash.

"Disgusting," Olivia muttered.

Olivia lifted a finger and sliced the air.

A thin line cut through space itself.

The Soul Insect Queen's lower body was cut cleanly.

The severed part fell and began to die, rotting from the inside as if sothing was eating it faster than it could regenerate.

The queen's face went pale.

Olivia raised her palm.

Dark energy spread out from Olivia's body and ford a giant arm in the air.

The arm mirrored Olivia's hand movent and grabbed the Soul Insect Queen by the neck.

The queen's throat tightened. Her eyes filled with pain, but she didn't dare scream.

"Esteed one," the Soul Insect Queen forced out. "I'm sorry. I didn't know this was your order. What should I call you, esteed one?"

Olivia's eyes stayed calm.

"Hm," Olivia said. "Just call Representative."

Olivia's grip tightened slightly, just enough to make the queen's soul shake.

"My master needs sothing from here," Olivia continued. "I don't plan to stay for long. Do your task now."

Olivia swung her arm.

The giant dark arm threw the Soul Insect Queen like she was throwing a toy.

The queen flew across the ruins, smashing through broken stone and rolling across the ground before she managed to stabilize herself.

Her body began to regenerate as she crawled away as fast as possible, moving toward the direction of the formation.

"I will do it, Representative," the Soul Insect Queen said quickly, her voice hoarse. "I will do it."

Rannor was still kneeling in midair. "Master, is it alright to let her go just like that?"

"It doesn't matter what she does," Olivia replied. "As long as she allows to take the sword."

Olivia's gaze turned cold.

"Now go," Olivia said. "Make sure everything progresses smoothly."

"Yes, Master." Rannor vanished, his sli body shooting away toward the soul inset queen.

Olivia looked down at the many insects on the ground.

They were still frozen under her aura. So had even choked on their own breath and were dying.

Olivia raised her palm.

The giant hand made of dark energy fell.

BAM!!!

A huge shockwave exploded outward, smashing the insects into minced at. Then, like the Soul Insect Queen's severed lower body, the remains began to rot from the inside.

The flesh dried out, turned brittle, and shattered into ashes.

The dark energy didn't stop.

It exploded into a fog that spread across the ruins. Wherever the fog passed, the insects turned the sa.

Their bodies rotted, dried, and collapsed into dust.

When the last insect was erased, Olivia stayed still for a mont, as if she was deep in thought.

Then suddenly Olivia turned her gaze toward Alex and Mingyue.

The mont Alex and Mingyue felt that stare, their instincts scread danger.

Mingyue's breathing stopped.

Alex's eyes narrowed.

The distance was far, but the feeling of dread is clear.

Now both of them could feel what the soul insect queen felt.

If not because of their soul at progenitor level, their situation will be worse than the the soul insect queen.

Olivia's gaze then locked onto Mingyue.

Her presence changed. It beca darker, like the air itself was turning cold.

A strong malice pressed down on Mingyue, pinning her in place even though Olivia was still far away.

Mingyue's body stiffened.

Her power tried to rise, but it felt like sothing was pressing on her soul directly.

Then Olivia disappeared.

She was just gone, like she had never been there.

Alex and Mingyue still didn't move.

They stood on the rooftop, backs tight, palms damp, cold sweat running down their necks.

For the first ti in their lives, they felt true fear.

"Just what was that?" Mingyue asked, "Why did it give that kind of feeling?"

Her fighting spirit is nowhere to be seen.

Alex stared at the empty air where Olivia had been.

"That power feels like the exact opposite of life force," Alex said.

"Power of death?" Mingyue asked.

Alex shook his head. "No. It's obliteration."

Alex swallowed.

"A true obliteration. A nothingness."
