"Stop! Fang Che wins!"

The two judges urgently sprang into action, "The victory is decided, stop fighting!"

One of them quickly dashed forth, catching Huo Churan, and stuffed an Elixir Pill into his mouth.

Carrying him, they flew back to the platform.

Swoosh, swoosh, two knives fell from the air simultaneously. Huo Churan’s knife lay across the platform while Fang Che’s knife descended, shearing off the tassel of Huo’s knife and standing erect on the platform.

The red tassels fluttered in the wind.

A dical team rushed up imdiately, carrying Huo Churan away.

After a quick pulse check, a smile appeared on their faces: "He’s fine, still breathing. Fang Che’s strikes were quite asured. You can see he was in control!"

Huo Churan was already unconscious, with seven or eight out of ten bones broken, and only a few teeth left in his mouth. His nose bone was smashed, not just fractured but caved in.

It was a picture of extre misery.

Students sitting in the front rows twitched at the corners of their mouths.

Seriously, you call these injuries ’quite asured’?

Where exactly is the ’asure’?

Yet they didn’t know that from the mont Huo Churan used that strange set of palm techniques, nearly all the instructors from the Martial Arts Academy had been disgusted!

Under these circumstances, how could they possibly defend Huo Churan?

Even the beating he had just endured should have been stopped halfway.

But it was not stopped at all!

Just to let this guy take a longer beating.

Huo Churan was highly suspicious, and if he was a little demon, death would not be an injustice.

If not... well, consider it a lesson, not expecting to use whatever techniques you fancy in public. This ti you’re a newcor and you took advantage, but if you tried this in an inter-school competition and got killed on the spot, you’d have nowhere to cry foul!

Fang Che erged victorious, and on the platform, his youthful, sunny, gentle, and shy smile appeared once more, making him look so obedient and lovable.

Polite, grace personified, he bowed towards the direction in which Huo Churan was carried off, "Classmate Huo, thank you for being lenient."

Below the platform, everyone had just witnessed him pumling Huo Churan like a punching bag, and now, seeing his gentle and graceful deanor, everyone felt the contradiction yet unity.

They were reevaluating him in their minds.

"He’s so handso..."

The girls sparkled in their eyes.

Capable in literature and martial arts, capable of playing the gentleman and the villain, able to fight, to endure, and to be gentle, Fang Xiaohua really was... tsk tsk, so manly.

A large cloak flew up from below the stage.

Fang Che elegantly donned it, shaking out his sleeves.

Imdiately a faint flicker of starlight appeared.

He bowed, "Instructors have worked hard."

The judges nodded with a smile, "Go rest."

"Okay!"

At that mont.

A voice from below called out, "Hold on."

A white figure flew up.

It was Qiu Yunshang.

The crowd was taken aback, what’s this about?

Qiu Yunshang flew onto the platform, bowed with hands folded in front, and said to the judges, "I concede!"

"Concede?"

Qiu Yunshang had a bitter smile on his lips, "I can’t win anyway. Brother Fang has broken through to the Fifth grade of Martial Master, and I, Qiu Yunshang, have no delusions about my abilities. All the passion in the world can’t overco absolute power. Rather than being beaten up on stage again, it’s better to concede now and keep my dignity."

He paused and then said to Fang Che, "I need to reserve so strength to fight Huo Churan!"

Below the platform, a wave of laughter erupted.

It seed that Qiu Yunshang was quite inflad with Huo Churan.

A few in the know couldn’t help but laugh while recalling the exchange between Fang Che and Huo Churan before the fight, as well as their words.

Huo Churan: "I don’t have the ti to make friends with you."

Fang Che: "Don’t bla for being ruthless today."

Fang Che: See each other, fight each other!

Seeing the current result only felt full of irony: you wanted to make friends, but were you even worthy?

When given face, you didn’t treasure it, and now that you’ve been beaten unconscious, who’s to bla?

If you had just cracked a smile back then, would you have ended up being beaten so badly?

Thinking of Fang Che’s vow: See each other, fight each other.

There was a feeling that perhaps Fang Xiaohua wasn’t joking after all?

Regarding Qiu Yunshang’s concession, everyone felt it was a bit unexpected yet also inevitable.

After all, facing an invincible foe.

Everyone understood.

Fang Che, too, offered a friendly smile, "Thank you Brother Qiu for the concession, sparing a beating. Haha, I suddenly feel a lot lighter."

Qiu Yunshang laughed heartily, "There’s no need for modesty. If I had a chance of winning, I would definitely fight. But since I can’t, fighting would only an getting beaten. So... Fang Che, you truly deserve the championship title of this competition."

"Thank you!"

Qiu Yunshang leapt down from the platform.

And the third place was determined—Yu Zhongge.

Huo Churan lay unconscious, completely incapacitated. With injuries like that, being able to recover in a year and a half would be fortunate, let alone fighting Yu Zhongge to the death.

And the champion, naturally, was Fang Che.

Huo Churan had been defeated, Qiu Yunshang had conceded, leaving no competitors.

The champion, Fang Che.

The runner-up, Qiu Yunshang.

Bronze dal, Yu Zhongge.

No one disputed Fang Che’s championship or Qiu Yunshang’s runner-up position.

But Yu Zhongge’s third place left everyone dumbfounded.

If mory served, during the crucial previous matches, Yu Zhongge had miraculously avoided fighting due to the drawing of lots—not once, but twice.

And now, he’d won third place without even fighting!

What kind of luck was that?

But the key point was that, no matter what, Huo Churan was now in no position to challenge Yu Zhongge any longer.

And other strong contenders like Ding Jie Ran, Mo Gan Yun... If it ca down to strength, they were probably stronger than Yu Zhongge, yet they had all been eliminated early!

So, Yu Zhongge’s bronze dal was won without even having a challenger.

"What in the world is this immortal luck?!"

Tens of thousands were perplexed.

Even Fang Che, Qiu Yunshang, Mo Gan Yun, Ding Jie Ran, and others kept giving Yu Zhongge sidelong glances, finding him sowhat mysterious.

Mo Gan Yun clicked his tongue in disbelief, his face showing utter amazent: "This... This guy must be hiding sothing; with such good fortune, he barely got hit and it was like he just strolled through the tournant to beco the third-place winner!"

"Damn, I was almost beaten to death and didn’t even make it into the top four..."

Fang Che’s face twisted slightly; compared to his hard-fought battles, Yu Zhongge was practically dust-free and had landed third place.

Goddamn, why does this feel so unbalanced?

Faced with everyone’s stares, Yu Zhongge himself appeared helpless, his face frozen in an awkward grin: "Luck, it really is just luck."

Everyone who heard him speak wore the sa expression.

Even their moods were similar: anyone else saying that would have been fine, but coming from you, man, I really can’t argue.

...

The Martial Arts Academy then began to distribute the awards.

Prizes for the top ten and top hundred were handed out simultaneously.

Fang Che received two Supre Soul Pills, twenty Qi Gathering Pills, two ridian expanding Pills, two Zhenyuan Pills, and one hundred points. Plus, a Championship Gold dal.

He got them on the spot.

Instantly, he transford into a tycoon of Baiyun Martial Academy.

Including the ten points he received upon joining the school, Fang Che now had one hundred and ten points in total.

According to standards where less than two points can get a dozen people a lavish al of Demon Beast at, these one hundred and ten points would suffice for a year’s worth of personal expenses for Fang Che, let alone buying Elixir Pills and other cultivation aids!

He suddenly beca flush with wealth.

Imdiately, this attracted gazes filled with envy, jealousy, and resentnt.

There were also countless hopeful eyes, eager for a piece of his fortune.

Fang Che paid them no heed.

He had only one thought: mission accomplished!

The life-saving skill that was of utmost importance, the Blood Burning Skill, was soon to be his!

Later, the Martial Arts Academy announced news: Tomorrow, the new students will be officially sorted into classes and begin lessons.

A cheer went up.

Then the Academy announced another piece of news: Starting tomorrow, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades will undergo assessnts!

And the punishnt chanism was declared.

Suddenly, the entire Great Training Ground filled with wails as if the sky itself echoed their misery!

Just lost everything gambling, now have to face exams! What’s worse, this exam almost guaranteed punishnt!

It was like suffering one misfortune after another, like a leaky roof in continuous rain or a broken boat facing headwinds!

Those old students who had lost their bets wore expressions that could only be described as mourning the dead!

Countless upperclassn then approached Fang Che, trying to cozy up: "Junior brother, from now on, I’ll follow you. See you at the cafeteria tomorrow!"

Fang Che chuckled: "Lost your bets?"

The older student looked embarrassed: "Completely cleaned out."

"So you didn’t bet on , did you?"

"Uh..."

"And now you want to dine with ?"

Fang Che looked surprised: "Brother, what were you thinking? You should dine with whoever you bet on. Why co to ?"

"Cough cough... You’re so well-off now, junior brother, and besides, is it so hard to treat a financially struggling upperclassman to a al? Think bigger, junior brother." This was the trump card when dealing with new students, and even so older students.

Few could resist this argunt, opting instead for the thought, ’Just a al, I’ll get over this hurdle; can’t let a new student earn a bad na as soon as he arrives in the Martial Arts School’, then caving in.

But Fang Che was clearly not among them.

"Brother, you must be joking, was it my fault you’re in financial difficulties?"

Fang Che looked innocent.

"..."

The older student looked indignant: "Junior brother Fang Che, why be so petty?"

"If you’re not petty, why co to to quibble over a al?"

Fang Che responded: "Brother, don’t be so petty! Are you really so hard up for one al? Isn’t this essentially begging? Acting like a beggar, right?"

"Fang Che, if you don’t want to treat, fine, but there’s no need for such harsh words." Another heavy criticism was laid down.

"What do you an by treating? Do I owe you guys a favor?"

Fang Che asked incredulously: "Betting on doesn’t count as owing a favor since those who did won with , so I don’t owe anyone. So why do you, who didn’t bet on , expect to treat you?"

"Just because you bet on others, lost all your points and can’t afford a al, so now you’re asking the winners who didn’t bet to treat? What about your pride?!"

"I just want to know, where in the world is there such logic?"

Fang Che asked in astonishnt: "Can soone please explain this to ?"
