An Ruoxing’s response put Fang Che at ease.
He had always been worried about the safety of Old Man Shen and others from the Baiyun Martial Academy who were participating in the Southeast conflicts, but without channels from the front lines, he never received any news from there. Now, he could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
An Ruoxing then greeted him and hurriedly left.
"Master Song, I’m heading ho too." Watching An Ruoxing walk away, Fang Che also bid farewell.
"Go ahead, and rest well."
Song Yidao replied sullenly without turning his head.
When he turned around to look, Fang Che was already nowhere to be seen.
"Ah! He’s still young, carefree and unconcerned."
Song Yidao sighed as he walked back, feeling as if his liver was swollen with anger throughout the night, his lungs felt suffocated and enlarged, yet there was nowhere to vent his frustration.
"Ah... Guardian... when will they truly beco strong..."
He looked at the moon and sighed deeply.
"So frustrating indeed."
He took a deep breath in, exhaled deeply again, yet he couldn’t rid his heart of the depression.
"Is it truly impossible to act against the Heavenly Palace?!"
...
Fang Che made his way ho, and Ye ng served him a bowl of hot porridge: "Drink it to nourish your body."
"Alright."
Fang Che took it and drank it all in one go, wiping his mouth: "It tastes really good. Your cooking skills have improved."
Ye ng instantly bead, her eyes smiling: "Then I’ll cook it for you every day."
"Good."
Fang Che nodded.
"You should sleep early; I suddenly have so insights and need to practice tonight." Fang Che gently hugged Ye ng, saying, "It’s hard on you to wait for every day."
"It’s nothing, I’ll head to bed first then."
Ye ng smiled contentedly and went back to her room.
No matter how late Fang Che returned, whenever he ca back, he would see Ye ng waiting with a light on, and she had already made ginseng porridge with various Spiritual dicines enhancing cultivation and strengthening the foundation and vital energy prepared in different combinations, blended to be thick and inviting, a bowl of which felt warm in the stomach and sweet in the mouth, imdiately dispelling all fatigue with a surge of Spiritual Power.
Fang Che had ntioned, suggesting Ye ng not to work so hard since he never knew what ti he’d get back.
Ye ng always agreed readily, yet every ti Fang Che ca ho late, he would still find her the sa way.
So Fang Che stopped dissuading her, the only thing he could do was hug her and tell her it was hard on her.
Even if it were just a few words, at least it showed her that her wait through the night wasn’t in vain.
He opened the cupboard, took out a bottle of Heavenly King Pill.
He opened it and swallowed two pills directly.
Feeling the Spiritual Power rge with the dicinal power of Ye ng’s soup surge up, Fang Che imdiately grasped a piece of Divine Crystal in each hand.
Closed his eyes.
Released the suppression of the Dantian.
Having already reached the peak of Fourth grade King level, he had suppressed this realm for about ten days, watching as the Fog Vortex in his Dantian continuously transford into clouds, filling Fang Che with a sense of achievent.
If he continued to suppress it, he could perhaps hold it down for another two to three days before breaking through to the Fifth Grade King Level.
However, Fang Che gave up on suppression, not only did he give up, but he also took out the Heavenly King Pill and Divine Crystals, comncing full operation of the Infinite Scripture.
Suddenly, colorless spiritual energy from the air poured into this yard like a tidal wave.
Fang Che’s body ford a giant funnel.
The Infinite Scripture operated rapidly within, drawing out the Dantian Fog Vortex, gradually becoming more colossal, flowing tumultuously through the ridians.
Slowly, everything transford into the power of the Infinite Scripture.
The consud Elixir Pills and the power of the Divine Crystals continued to supply, while the heavens and earth’s spiritual energy entered relentlessly through his pores, being refined.
A slight whirlwind ford at his side, expelling impure spiritual power directly.
As the Spiritual Power continued to grow, each return to the Dantian increased the Dan Tian Cloud Qi slightly.
After thirty-six circulations, a raging torrent was ford. The ridians felt faintly swollen, and the Fifth Grade King Level barrier began to loosen naturally.
Fang Che controlled the impulse to break through, continuing to surge wildly within the ridians, amassing strength.
Finally... the Dantian reached the verge of explosion, he suddenly released it.
With a thunderous crash, the Fifth Grade King Level barrier broke apart almost instantly like rotten wood, torrents of spiritual energy rushing in forcefully, with the entire ridian completely connecting, joining the overall torrent, circulating throughout the body.
This ti, Fang Che discovered that with every return to the Dantian, the cloud-like qi grew naturally, and so he continued to revolve.
The Divine Crystal in his hand silently turned to dust.
Imdiately replacing them with two more.
By the ti the eighth Divine Crystal turned to dust, finally, Fang Che stopped his practice.
Not because he didn’t want to continue cultivating in one go.
But because the ridians could no longer withstand it.
After rapid cultivation growth, there must be a period of ti for the body and ridians to gradually adapt to the burgeoning Spiritual Energy before it is possible to further advance.
The usual cultivation, strengthening the body, and nurturing the ridians is so important precisely for this reason.
Since in the end, the human body, for Spiritual Energy, is just a container.
And Spiritual Energy does not actually belong to part of the human body.
For instance, after a person’s body dies, Spiritual Energy dissipates, returning to the space between heaven and earth and won’t rot along with the body...
He opened his mouth, exhaling a long breath of foul air, extending ten feet before it finally dissipated.
Feeling the Spiritual Energy full within his body.
Fang Che floated lightly out of the room, entering the courtyard.
It was nearly dawn by this ti.
The morning breeze was vast.
With the Netherworld in his hand, he looked at the sky where the morning star’s bright radiance shone brilliantly, his just-broken-through ntal Realm montarily touched.
