145. The Trouble with Treefolk (Jonathan Saffron)

“Do you think there’s another Fruit Nymph sowhere in these woods?” I ask the others, thinking of Alex’s concern while pondering the food situation. A long ti ago, yes. But it’s been years since I’ve seen them. That’s a sha. A fourth could’ve made a huge difference as we gather more mouths to feed. I love your kind heart, Jonathan.

“Doubt it,” Suka replies with a confident sniff, “I’m sure we missed so Treefolk stragglers, but a Fruit Nymph wouldn’t wander off on her own, and she wouldn’t be subtle if she did. We’d have seen, slled, or heard a group large enough to nab a Nymph and make a break for it by now.”

gan agrees, “Fruit Nymphs are easy prey. High value, simple to lure away, and single-minded when they’re horny—which is all the ti. I bet that’s why the Elder had such a low stock of them on hand. They get stolen by other monster tribes.”

That makes sense.

“Hmm, I haven’t seen any before,” Gale comnts, Rosie and Monal both nodding in agreent. A line of drool dribbles from the corner of her mouth as she recalls last night, “And I’d rember eting soone so tasty!”

There's no telling which bodily fluid she's referring to, considering the Fruit Nymphs have produce for genitals. I hope Marcy is doing well.

“I’m sure she’s being thoroughly entertained,” I whisper to myself so only Brenda and my companions with exceptional ears can hear, wanting to alleviate my wife’s concern over her sister.

“Alright, then let’s head back to Fieldton,” Cottontail says, the beautiful bunny girl coming to a decision, “Alex wouldn’t want us spending all day here hunting Fruit Nymphs when we have missions to take care of!” She about-faces and strides off, showing a remarkable developnt of confidence as she expects us to all fall in line.

You sure do like staring at her ass, Jonathan~

“It’s an aweso ass!” I whisper-shout at myself. Cottontail stumbles slightly, the interior of her bunny ears flushing bright red as they swivel toward us, before correcting her stride.

“You dog,” The fiery-haired canine says, elbowing in the side while waggling her eyebrows with a wolfish grin. Then she approaches her Mate and gives the Desert Rose Dryad a hip-bump, “Okay everybody, you heard the Little Lady. Bel, let’s get them moving.”

Isabella waves her palms, making guardrails of flowers spring to life to form a lane behind Cottontail as the Showbunny leads our train of captives ho. We have the pregnant Busty Willows from the nursery marching on their roots, a bevy of green-skinned won dismounted from their Pitchers following Mulu’s example, and a tangle of Strangler Fig Treefolk holding each other for comfort.

I wonder if I can recognize any of them?

“At least you have the chance to find out.” I’m glad Alex didn’t kill all the Stranglers like she did with the Apple Treefolk. They seem more like scared little boys than terrible monsters now. I’m glad too, Jonathan. Unlike the Twisted Trees, my brothers didn’t have a choice in what was done to them.

With our allies interspersed amongst the Treefolk prisoners, they have no chance to make a dash for the underbrush or form ranks to resist us. Instead, our group walks them back to Fieldton while checking the onionskin map of the surrounding area for pit traps. Not that we couldn’t handle any we fell into. There’s already evidence of Drosera’s hand at work in the sundew plants sprouting across the field.

When we arrive ho, it’s to find a bustling hive of activity. Bunnies are bucket-brigading dirt by the shovelful out of the New Warren, Harpies and mice are finding and retrieving the tiny Fuzzies of the field, Gabby is busy performing so arcane ritual on her new wand, and the Elder’s forr prisoners are hard at work ‘making lunch’ with the Fruit Nymphs. The Parlour has an ‘Out of Order’ sign, reminding that Spindle is on a mission of her own today.

Lois, the tiny sex-bomb of a dormouse milf, I think she’s cute too, flits about while checking on every little thing. Her new Matron body has all her motherly appeal but reduces the signs and effects of aging. She’s sprightly today, which is a sight to see with that incredible bust and booty.

anwhile, Aello lounges around with young males of multiple species waiting on her hand and foot. She’s lucky she’s sexy, or Alex wouldn’t tolerate the lazy old bird.

“You’re back! Success?” Lois asks after giving Cottontail and gan a hug, checking Chris once-over for damage and finding none as the angora bunny girl waves her off, “And you brought ho new citizens for Fieldton! Excellent work, everyone.” The Dormouse Matron scans the crowd with complex thoughts whirling behind her eyes as she takes in the Desert Rose Dryad’s lack of self-assurance leading such a large and motley crew.

“You all are going to the Kindergarten. Protect the children under Mother Heather’s guidance,” Lois tells the Busty Willows, pregnant or otherwise. “Isabella, take the Pitcher won and set up in the Parlour giving massages; we need soone replacing Spindle on stress-relief today."

Smart. Isabella looks much more confident leading a smaller group of Pitchers rather than trying to manage an entire forest. She needs a chance to grow into her role. Also, I’m glad Mulu looks happy accompanying the Desert Rose Dryad and her forest sisters.

“Drosera!!!” The Sundew Trap dashes over at Lois’s beckoning call. “Teach these Strangler Figs how to use their tendrils properly.”

“Yes, ma’am!” Drosera snaps off a smart salute before sauntering away with a sultry sway of his hips, the woody tentacle monsters in tow seeming hypnotized.

“Alright, now that that’s settled, it’s ti for us to split up,” Suka says with evident regret as she watches her Mate guide a gaggle of Pitcher won over to the smaller pavilion of the newly dubbed Massage Parlour.

The remainder of our party divides as follows: Suka, Cottontail, gan, Dura, and Sue are going to Harpy Mountain. At the sa ti, /, Flou, Olindia, Chris, Gale, Rosie, and Monal will head for the Misty Grove. Olindia exits Sue’s nethers, the Froglin's pink Jellyfish leotard dissolving as the Sli girl departs. Otherwise, it’s a few simple farewells as we part ways.

“Hurry along, guys, the rest of you are going to need a Harpy escort to keep up. Yoink!” Suka grins as she snatches Cottontail into a princess carry and bursts into the air on fiery rocket paws before zooming away, leaving nothing but a cinnamon-flavored smoke trail.

“HEY, BITCH! THAT CUTE BUNNY BUTT IS MINE!” gan shouts as she bolts after them on foot, the only trace of her passage the negative imprint of her neon-yellow afterimage on our retinas.

“Catch if you can, Zippy!”

*Incoherent mousy rage-screaming!*

The three primary-colored Harpy boys, Red, Blue, and Yellow, one grabbing Sue by the shoulders and two on Dura’s either arm, carry the last mbers of their group in pursuit.

We address our remaining teammates for the day, ““Let’s equip and move out.””

“…Equip?” Chris wonders. Olindia answers her question by liquefying and surging over and up the bunny girl’s love tunnel to enter her womb. “W-w-woah!” Sli tendrils erupt from Chris’s honeypot to form a pink jellyfish tutu on her Playmate outfit that hugs her soft, squishable, curvy waist. Then Flou’s three bodies separate to cover Rosie, Monal, and Chris, forming ruby-studded red lingerie on the Harpies and covering Chris’s strapless corset teddy in crimson rhinestones. Blood crystals coat the Harpies’ claws, giving them an extra dinsion of danger.

““Looking lovely, ladies,”” we comnt.

“Yep! Yep! Yep!” Gale eagerly agrees with us while drooling over her companions, “Now, let’s go, go, go!”

The Rainbird gently lifts Chris into the air by the shoulders while Rosie and Monal get a good grip on / by either arm. My Stone Ooze Skin and Sli Body are tough enough to protect from even those scarlet claws. It’s not our first ti flying, both of us recalling our abduction by Harpies not too long ago. Knowing the Harpies carrying you on an intimate level makes a big difference. Yeah, this isn’t scary at all. No, it takes our breath away, not that we need to breathe like this, as we survey the Fuzzy Field below. The fields of grass are so pretty. I’m so glad I get to see this with my best friend. Aww.

Together, the eight of us fly onward toward the dark patch of forest in the lee of the Mountain, everything below the canopy shrouded in perpetual mist. Who knows what awaits us there?
