Sherwin let out a breath of relief. For a mont, he had feared his Longsword would end up like Yubashiri in the original story—turned to stone and then shattered.
Though he had already planned to switch back to the Longsword White Nagi in the future, Longyue had been with him for so long that he couldn’t help but feel reluctant to see it ruined.
Seeing that even Hancock Slave Arrow failed to take Sherwin down, Boa Sandersonia—who had been knocked back with the others earlier but hadn’t been injured—suddenly coiled up her massive snake body, then launched herself toward the Felynes who were watching the battle from the Dodo Forward.

Far away, Sherwin naturally had no idea that the Pirate Empress had set her sights on him. Even if he knew, he wouldn’t really care. In fact, he might even feel a tiny bit pleased.
But right now, the most important thing was still the matter of summoning a new Felyne.
After circling past the Perfu Snake, Sherwin had already taken out the Hunter Manual. Unlike the ti with the Sandai Kitetsu, the manual didn’t act difficult or refuse him—it behaved obediently this ti, completing the third white shard for Sherwin.

After doing all that, Sanji ow quickly shoved the Summoning Ticket back into Sherwin hand and urged him:
"Hurry up and summon, ow! Don’t forget to wish for a Beautiful big sister Felyne, ow!"
Only then did Sherwin realize—Sanji ow was copying the exact steps he’d done before summoning the Beautiful big sister Felyne...
