Although Sherwin might’ve put most of his stat points into intelligence a bit unevenly, he’d still watched hundreds of episodes of Detective Conan.
So, using the clues he had to make so basic deductions wasn’t difficult at all.
And the stunned expression on Garp face confird that his guess was right — that old man Sengoku really was planning to do exactly that!
Sherwin didn’t care much about the other Warlords, but if Mihawk was involved, things could get a little tricky.
Fortunately, given Mihawk laid-back nature and dislike for unnecessary trouble, he probably wouldn’t show up just to join the fun.
Even if he did get bored and decided to go to Marineford to ss with Sherwin, being able to exchange a few moves in swordsmanship with him wouldn’t exactly be a loss.
After so quick calculations in his mind, Sherwin realized the situation was just as Garp had said — not really a big problem.
"This is sothing you figured out yourself, don’t go pinning it on !" Garp quickly tossed the bla aside once he snapped out of his daze.
Then, curiosity sparked in his eyes as he asked, "So how’d you guess it, brat?"
Sherwin turned to look at Shakky, not answering Garp question directly. Instead, he rubbed his forehead and asked, "So that troubleso woman, Hancock, will be heading to Marineford too, right?"
Shakky paused for a mont, then nodded. "That right. That girl been wanting to teach you a lesson for a while now. What exactly did you do to make her so mad?"
She gave Sherwin a playful once-over, smiling teasingly as she added, "At your age, I’m surprised you didn’t fall for that girl charms... got so kind of secret reason for that?"
"Who the hell has so kind of secret reason?!" Sherwin face darkened imdiately,
and he said angrily, "At first, I was a little chard by her! But that woman actually bullied my cats!
She even tried to lay a hand on my Felynes! The only reason I didn’t take her down right then and there was because I was being rciful!"
"Ah! So you were talking about that annoying big sister ow!"
The little ragdoll finally connected the na "Hancock" with the woman they’d t back in the Calm Belt.
Wrinkling her nose, she exclaid, "That big sister is a bad person! Klee ow doesn’t like her either, ow!"
Shakky sighed and rubbed her forehead. "So that how it is, huh?"
Given what she knew about Hancock — and the kind of companions Sherwin traveled with — Shakky had already guessed the root of their conflict. Now she was simply confirming it directly from Sherwin himself.
"Speaking of which," she asked curiously, "how did you know about my connection to Amazon Lily? Even Morgans doesn’t know about my past identity."
Sherwin tilted his head proudly, putting on a mysterious air. "My sources of information aren’t limited to the World Economic News.
Not only do I know you used to be the Empress of Amazon Lily... I also know who Roger son is~"
As he spoke, Sherwin glanced sideways at Garp and Rayleigh.
Sure enough, both old n expressions changed drastically.
"What?! Roger son is still alive?!" Rayleigh shot to his feet in shock.
"You’re not joking, are you? Roger son—didn’t he die during that massacre by the World Governnt?!"
At Rayleigh words, Garp face turned grim.
It was obvious he’d been against what happened back then, but as just another enforcer for the World Governnt, there had been nothing he could do to stop it.
"Why don’t you ask one of the people involved directly?" Sherwin tilted his chin toward Garp.
In truth, even if Garp hadn’t shown up today, Sherwin had planned to tell Rayleigh about Ace anyway.
Part of him was just curious — if Rayleigh knew Ace true identity ahead of ti, what choice would he make when the Marineford War ca?
Garp ignored Rayleigh piercing stare once again and barked at Sherwin with a scowl,
"Brat, how can you just go around blurting out other people secrets like that?!"
You’re one to talk, you walking leak!
Sherwin curled his lips but still explained, "Ace didn’t tell any of this. I knew before I even t him.
I also know that the na ’Ace’ ca from Roger sword — and that Portgas D. Rouge, to avoid the World Governnt hunt, forced herself to carry the child in her womb for twenty long months..."
He clicked his tongue softly and sighed. "That really incredible."
"Yeah, she truly was an incredible mother..." Garp was drawn into mories by Sherwin words, sighing softly before looking at him with a complicated expression.
"Brat, you even know about that? Don’t tell —you’re related to Ace mother?"
"Not really. I just happen to know a little more than most people," Sherwin said, once again gesturing as if lanting the loss of the Galactic Market.
"Besides, old man Garp, aren’t you underestimating the World Governnt and the Marine intelligence network a bit?
Ace has been sailing around using his mother surna, making quite a na for himself.
I’d say his identity probably close to being exposed by now, wouldn’t you?"
Sherwin vaguely rembered that, in the original story, the Marines had actually already discovered Ace true identity.
But before they could act, Ace had joined the Whitebeard Pirates—so the matter had simply been left alone.
Garp heart skipped a beat, though he stubbornly maintained his composure.
"Since he already out at sea, whatever he faces from now on is sothing he’ll have to deal with himself."
Sherwin shrugged, dropping the topic—after all, this "grandfather" truly didn’t care whether Ace lived or died.
anwhile, Rayleigh and Shakky had pieced together the aning behind their conversation—they now understood who Roger son was.
"Portgas D. Ace, the ’Spade’?" Shakky quickly recalled the information she’d heard about him.
"He quite an active pirate lately. Like Sherwin, he even defeated one of the Seven Warlords, and his bounty rose to three hundred million beli.
Not long ago, he caused a scene in the Sabaody Archipelago for dining and dashing. He should have entered the New World by now."
"Dining and dashing—yep, that exactly the kind of stupid thing Ace would do," Sanji ow said with a disdainful twitch of his mouth.
"Even if he the son of that famous Pirate King, he still a fool, ow!"
"The Spade Pirates, huh? I’m the one who coated their ship!" Rayleigh slapped his thigh in frustration, but after taking a long swig of liquor, he suddenly burst into hearty laughter.
"Hahahahaha! Well, it doesn’t matter. Just knowing Roger son is still alive is enough for . So, he beco a pirate after all!"
Garp, who once wanted both Ace and Luffy to beco Marines, folded his arms with a scowl, sulking silently to himself.
After laughing for a while, Rayleigh gaze toward Sherwin grew complicated.
He was grateful to Sherwin for bringing news about Ace, but because of what had happened with Hachi, it was difficult for him to speak kindly to Sherwin...
Fortunately, Sherwin had no intention of using this chance to get closer to Rayleigh.
After finishing his conversation with Garp, he stood up, preparing to leave with the Felynes.
After all, his purpose for coming here was already fulfilled, and since the host clearly wasn’t happy with his presence, there was no point in staying to make things awkward.
Besides, Sherwin hadn’t even finished unlocking the map of the Sabaody Archipelago yet.
He had also promised the Felynes that he’d take them to deal with those slave traders who’d been causing trouble.
"Well then, old man Garp, see you next ti at Marineford."
"Goodbye, Grandpa Garp, ow~"
After saying farewell to Garp, Sherwin led the Felynes out of the bar, heading toward Red Tree No. 1—also known as Area 0.
