If Conqueror of Three Worlds: Ragnarok was a Jolteon, Kaido ow Glacial Blade was a Glaceon, whereas Yamato Glacial Blade was a regular Eevee carrying Never-lt Ice.
Furthermore, there was another distinction: Yamato used their own Fruit abilities, but the cold air from Kaido ow spiked club was emitted by the cat himself. Crucially, this chill was not inferior to Yamato Fruit powers at all.

Because Kaido ow had ntioned collecting materials earlier, Kaido subconsciously assud that this spiked club, much like that Sakura Dragon Fruit, was the work of Vegapunk.

Kaido ow exhaled a long breath of turbid air. Although it appeared he had the upper hand just now, that was not actually the case.
To block that strike, Kaido ow had expended significantly more energy than Kaido. He knew that if the battle continued, he would likely not be Kaido match.
However, as a "Kaido" himself, he naturally wouldn’t surrender just because there was a possibility he might lose.
