After obtaining yubashiri, Sherwin had no intention of leaving Loguetown right away.

After all, it was a well-known scenic spot in the East Blue—how could he not take a proper stroll around? Besides, he still needed to send material to Morgans.

So, with the newly acquired Shusui hanging at his waist and two cats perched on his shoulders, Sherwin strolled leisurely toward the execution platform at the center of town, looking every bit like one of those old n in the capital who took birds out for walks.

Although the execution platform was just a wooden structure, it still drew a steady stream of tourists every day. Naturally, a bunch of street vendors had gathered around to sell their wares...

"Sherwin-nii, Klee wants to eat that, ow."

The little plush doll tugged on his ear and spoke with a mouth full of food, pointing toward a snack stand not far ahead.

"Finish what you’re eating first," Sherwin said irritably, poking Klee ow cheek with a finger. "If you eat too much now, you might not be able to have dinner later."

"Awu..."

Klee ow looked around at the dazzling array of snack stalls, clearly struggling to make a decision.

"It okay, ow! I can make midnight snacks for Klee-chan anyti, ow!"

That little troublemaker Sanji ow had to chi in and ruin things again. Annoyed, Sherwin reached out to pinch his face, but Sanji ow didn’t just sit there and take it—he raised his little black paws and tried to paw Sherwin hand away with a flurry of slaps.

"Kid, those two cats of yours look pretty nice~"

A lazy, mocking voice interrupted Sherwin warm mont with the cats.

Sherwin sighed helplessly. Sure enough, no matter where he went, the cats were like fem fatales—always drawing unwanted attention.

He glanced at the group of scruffy punks blocking the road and recalled briefly...

Hmm, unfamiliar faces—probably just so bounty-less nobodies.

Sanji ow had no interest in dealing with low-level thugs like these, and Klee ow wasn’t suited for fighting inside the city. So, in situations like this, it was always up to Sherwin to handle things.

"Shhh... clack."

yubashiri flashed out of its sheath and back in an instant. Before anyone around could even register what had happened, the few thugs blocking the way were already lying in a pool of blood on the ground.

"Doo—Doo—"

With the sharp sound of whistles and the clatter of hurried footsteps, a group of marines ca rushing over in a disorderly formation...

Just like in most movies and TV shows, the cops always showed up after the fact.

"What happened here?!"

The leading marine barked sharply.

"These guys tried to steal my cats, so I cut them down," Sherwin said calmly, pointing to the n lying on the ground.

His straightforward explanation only made the marines more anxious. They quickly raised their weapons and aid them at Sherwin.

"You—are you a pirate?!"

"No, I’m not."

Sherwin frowned as he watched the marines fumble to pull out a stack of bounty posters, comparing them clumsily to his face.

The quality of these marines was... questionable. They didn’t seem like Smoker subordinates. Had that Smoke Guy not arrived to take up his post in Loguetown yet?

Fortunately, despite their lack of training, they were still part of the lawful faction. And thanks to Morgans press credentials—which were quite reliable—once they confird Sherwin wasn’t a pirate, the marines dragged the injured thugs away in a loud, bumbling ss.

Sherwin scanned his surroundings and simultaneously spread out his Observation Haki.

As expected, the greedy gazes from earlier had mostly vanished. That was one of the reasons Sherwin had taken down those thugs in a single move without a word—only such decisive action could deter most people from coveting the cats.

However...

There were still a few fools who hadn’t given up.

Sherwin shook his head and ignored those idiots who couldn’t judge the gap in strength. He continued wandering around the town with the cats.

If he rembered correctly, there should be a high-end clothing store in Loguetown. The owner had a very distinctive hairstyle—shaped like a clothes hanger...

Now Sherwin was feeling the itch to play Miracle Cats again.

"ow hahaha, uncle, your hair is so funny, ow!"

Before long, Sherwin found the store he was looking for. Sure enough, the shopkeeper was that strange man with the hanger-shaped hairstyle.

"T-The cat just talked!"

Do they all have to say that line...

Not just Sherwin—even Klee ow and Sanji ow were used to this reaction by now and couldn’t be bothered to explain anymore.

"Boss, I want to order a few custom outfits for these two, and also pick up so clothes that are easy to move around in."

Sherwin slapped a wad of Berries down on the counter.

"No problem!"

The hanger-like man imdiately recovered from his shock and took out a asuring tape to start sizing the two Felynes.

After ordering custom outfits for the Felynes and confirming the pickup ti, Sherwin wandered around Loguetown with them, exploring every corner of the town. Only after making a full loop did he finally find an inn to stay in temporarily.

"Mm, the map really is fully unlocked."

Back in the room, Sherwin opened his handbook to confirm. Since he had walked through all of Loguetown, the entire island and the surrounding seas were now fully lit up on the map. It was clear that there were no other towns on this island.

However, this was the first ti Sherwin learned that the island Loguetown was located on was called the Polaris Archipelago.

He then flipped a few pages forward. As expected, the weapon encyclopedia now included information on the sword yubashiri.

But...

"The handbook is glowing, ow!"

"Klee can make new friends again, ow?!"

Under Sherwin shocked gaze and the Felynes excited ones, the weapon page began to glow with a milky white light, and a piece of an iron-grey summon ticket appeared tucked between the pages.

"Huh? What going on?!"

Sherwin took out the two-thirds of the iron-grey summon ticket he had previously obtained and gently brought it close to the handbook. The newly appeared fragnt instantly fused perfectly with it...

It was indeed the missing piece of the Cat-Cut-Up summon ticket.

So, what gave Shusui, a sharp and fine blade, the right to grant a summon ticket fragnt directly?

One possibility was progress in collecting famous swords.

A total progress of 6 out of 83 wasn’t anything special. But if he looked only at the progress for fine blades, 5 out of 50 happened to land exactly on the one-tenth mark. That did seem a bit possible—though not very likely... After all, he had already unlocked so many creatures in the monster encyclopedia without any reaction like this.

Another possibility was that yubashiri was special—and what made it special was... it was Zoro sword in the original manga.

Compared to collection progress, Sherwin felt this possibility was more likely.

Tch... He had originally thought, since he couldn’t run into Sandai Kitetsu, he’d just leave it for Zoro in the future. But now... looks like he’d still have to fleece the moss-headed guy for it!

Since Sandai Kitetsu eventually ended up in Ipponmatsu hands, it was very likely still in the East Blue at the mont. So, with a little ti—and having the lucky Klee ow guide him—it shouldn’t be too hard to find it.

As for Zoro...

At worst, he could just give him the Sword that he no longer used, along with the fine blade he obtained later. That could count as tuition for learning from Shimotsuki Koushirou.

With his plan made, Sherwin subconsciously nodded, then pried off the two little Felynes tugging impatiently at his ears and cheeks, eager to summon a new companion.

"All right, all right, quit rushing . I’m summoning now!"

Originally, Sherwin had planned to find a more secluded spot to perform the summoning—after all, when he summoned Klee ow, the commotion had been huge.

But this ti it was a Cut-type UP summon, so it probably wouldn’t be as exaggerated as Klee ow...

Moreover, he was also very curious about exactly how the summoned Felynes appeared.

So, Sherwin held the now-complete summon ticket between his fingers and simultaneously expanded his Observation Haki to its maximum range. Only then did he silently recite in his heart—

Felyne, summon!
