"Yes," I replied.
There is no use in rejecting, seeing he could feel my power.
Still, I wished he could sense it late. Though, he gave me more time than I had thought.
I thought, with the beast's fusion. He would sense the strings immediately, but he didn't. He gave me a few precious seconds that will help me in a long way.
"I have been searching for you. With your sacrifice, I will get the greatest blessing from the beast god.!" he said, laughing loudly.
"I think you should worry about your life before thinking of sacrificing me," I replied.
Making him laugh even louder before suddenly stopped and came at me.
Even with the strings behind him. He could move and move quite fast. It isn't surprising to see strings, seeing my strings aren't finished with all their layers of bindings.
His attack came, and I swung my sword to defend.

They clashed hard, producing a massive shockwave, while I shook before taking a step back. "See, I told you. Your tricks won't work on me!" he said with a grin and attacked me again. He might be grinning and laughing, but I could feel most of his power is concentrated on dealing with things. He attacked them with massive energies.
Thankfully, my strings are strong, and my advancement through the Talaras has made them even stronger.
Also, my clone is handling them. It is its responsibility to deal with energy and bind him as soon as possible. So, I can kill him as soon as I can.
Nothing could be said about the cultists. They bring a lot of uncertainty.
"This is just the beginning," I replied and attacked. He reacted immediately, moving his lance to defend.
CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG
His lance defended against the attack before attacking me, which I had defended before attacking me.
The attacks and the defense continued.
It's like barely anything has changed, which is different from how things happen when one gets caught in my strings.
Though, I am not surprised. It is a shaman with the power of the beast's mode.
Seconds passed, and I continued to fight.
With time, his strength begins to increase. He had started to find a way around the strings. To others, it's very hard, but to the shaman with beast gods' power, it's not.
"See, even your bindings aren't enough to stop me. They are difficult, I will say, but it won't be long before I break out of them," he said before attacking me.
I didn't reply to that and defended before attacking with my own attack.
He defended before attacking me, with his attack even stronger than before. It had pushed me
a step back and nearly forced me to take another step back.
He used that chance to launch another attack and then another.
Seconds passed, and he continued to press me hard. Not giving me a single chance to attack while regaining more and more of his power.
I could not do anything other than keep defending.
CLANNNNG!
His spear had hit me again, sending me five steps back before attacking, when something finally happened.
My strings had finished their half-pleted job and formed plete layers around him. His eyes widened seeing that, while I smiled and dodged his attack before launching one of my own.
Rip!
A wet sound rang out as I cut him across his chest. It's quite surprising that he was able to dodge it.
I didn't think he would.
He had dodged it but understood the gravity of the situation he was in. It could be seen clearly in his eyes.
"I give up the challenge!" He said suddenly, but there was no change.
"I concede this challenge," he repeated, but there was no change. The area remained, and so did the large clock over our heads.
"Challenger cannot concede the challenge. Only challenge could," I replied to him with a smile.
It is why I had not kept his mouth open. If I knew he could escape with the words, I would have.
"Concede, Zaar, or you will like it, what will happen," he said, looking directly into my eyes. "There is no escape other than death for you, Shaman," I replied simply. To that, he smiled a smile that was filled with anger and hate.
"So be it!" he replied, and the next moment, I felt the energies in him burning.
He moved toward me with more speed than what should have been possible with the bindings. He had strained the bindings that were covering him.
I didn't move.
Instead, I activated the formations across layers of binding. As it did, it shone in the dark pink
light.
I powered the bindings with pure forbidden power.
Immediately, he slowed down, and I moved forward, pouring everything I had.
Ripppp!
My sword cut through his chest, but not fully. He was able to save his heart by dodging the
attack on time.
I want to kill him as soon as possible before it can bring out something new or even the beast
god interferes.
Chances of that are non-existent, seeing his level, but given my luck.
Nothing could be said.

My sword cut through his neck, but once again, not fully.
"Since you want to kill me. I will kill you too!" he said with his eyes burning in mad
vengeance.
At that exact moment, his burning energy turned extremely unstable.
"I concede!" I shouted immediately, and the clock turned red.
"Fuck!" I cursed, seeing that I would need to survive three seconds before the battle was finished. If I had done that before the fifteen minutes were over, it would have ended
instantly.
Seeing that, I moved back while the layers of strings binding him came out and formed layers and layers of spheres around him.
I don't know whether my strings will be able to survive that, but I know one thing: I won't be
protected.
There have been incidents here where the challenger and the challenged both have died. So, if
I want to survive, I will have to do it on my own.
"I hope you will die, but if you survive, she will kill you!"
