I turned and waited.
There was nothing I could do. It is focused on me. If I tried to run, it would e after me.
So, it's better that I just wait. Let it e out when i feels like it. The longer it takes to e out, the better it would be for me.
There is a monster at the bottom of the lake. The one I didn't sense.
The lake isn't simple water but water filled with dense energy, and that energy gets denser with depth. It is difficult for even my soul sense to find it hard to reach.
It had reached the deep, but by them, it had bee very weak, and the monster had powerful stealth, making it miss it.
Now, I will have to fight it. I would rather not do it, but I didn't have a choice.
Seconds passed and at the twenty-ninth second. It came out of the water without creating the faintest ripple on it.
The monster looked like a lizard. It is two meters long, with a sharp blade-like tail and a shimmering blue scale that looks like they are made of gem.
Its eyes are also blue, and now it is looking at me.
There is an obvious intention to kill. It has tasted the flesh of the people, and it wants it, and it is not even trying to harden it.

It let out a breathy, snakelike roar and came at me with a speed that felt blurry to me. Burst 90%.
The power burst out of me, and it was insane.
This power is far above what I had when I fought the Ogmarazi hive.
Since then, I have been strengthened by a part of the Ogmarazi queen. Got an increase with the practice of over a year and a half and a massive increase in strength by the storm.
The shimmering lizard appeared in front of me in a flash and attacked.
I responded immediately with the power of the burst coursing through me. CLANNNG!
My sword clashed against its sharp claws, and I shook before taking a step back. Despite the massive increase. This monster showed me my place.
It did not surprise me. This place is like this. The resources here, the high energy environment, and storms. Those that can in such an environment are extremely powerful.
It is a testament to my strength that I was able to bear its attack with only one step back.

It let out a silent roar, and I found its sharp tail ing toward me. It is shining around the edge, which did not give me a good feeling.
Which is enough to tell me. That I could not let the tail touch me.
Without hesitation. I moved my sword to defend against it.

My sword stopped the tail but felt such force that I needed to take two steps back to deal with it.
The monster used that opportunity to attack me with its claw. While its tail remained against my sword.
Its claw reached nearly and was about to clash against my armor when another sword appeared out of nowhere, held by an artificial hand.
CLANNNG!
A moment later, it stopped the attack.
"It's an impressive attack, but you will have to do much better than that to kill me," I said to it.

It seemed to understand what I was saying and roared before its scales began to glow.
I felt its aura getting heavier and more powerful. The force of its claws and the tail had also increased against my sword.
Burst 100%.
Seeing that, I had activated the full power without hesitation.
It is a good thing I did because the next attacks of it were so fast. I wouldn't have been able to defend against them at all.
CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!
I reacted fast, and both of my swords defended against the claws and the tail which came at me in blurring speed.
I used my full power to defend but despite that. It shook me.
The monster disappeared and appeared behind me. Attacking me with its mouth and tail.
CLANNNNG!
My sword clashed against its tail, stopping it, but its mouth kept ing at me, with my other sword moving toward it.
As it reached closed. It closed its mouth, and the scales on its head began to shine brightly.
CLANNNNG!
My sword clashed against its head.
It stopped the sword. It was barely able to give an inch-long gash to the monster.
Which didn't seem to affect it much.
'These monsters are worse than the information says, I thought.
They are fast and have a high defense. Killing them is hard for people like me. The laws are effective against them, but I could not use the laws.
If I could use the laws, I had prehended. This monster would have died already.
In the past one and a half years, my prehension of my laws has increased steadily. CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!
The monster disappeared and attacked again. I defended before attacking it.
It defended against my sword but to my surprise. Dodged the totem artifact going for its head.
It seemed to feel the threat it seemed to possess and didn't want to face directly with its head.
Seeing that, I tried to take advantage of that, but the bastard was too fast. It avoided my sword or defended it with its claws and tail, the parts that could defend against it. Still, I kept trying, but no matter what I did, I couldn't touch it.
Rip! Minutes passed when, finally, I was able to able to hit. Though, not its head, but back with my blade doing several inches deeper.
It would have done deeper. If not for it being too fast.
Still, it made me happy, and I was able to hit it three more times in the next minute.

I was attacking it when I sensed something. It had turned my expression serious.
"It's time to finish you off," I said to the monster.
I would have liked to fight it more.
It is the first time I am using my full strength, and I am enjoying it, but someone is ing, and I don't want them to see me fighting.
