Orcs.

Usually classified as D-rank, they’re monsters that adventurers just beyond the beginner level often encounter.

They breed as fast as goblins, so requests to exterminate them never stop coming into the Adventurers’ Guild.

If they’re not regularly culled, they can inflict great damage on ordinary villages.

That’s exactly what orcs are.

To veteran adventurers, orcs are just another common monster.

However, the mont orcs form a horde, their threat level skyrockets.

Despite their high fertility, orcs don’t usually gather in large groups.

Once the number in a group exceeds a certain point, so of the older ones leave.

Those that leave then breed elsewhere and create their own new horde — that’s the orc’s nature.

Because if too many orcs, with their incredible reproductive power, gather in one place, food runs out quickly.

Unlike goblins, orcs eat more, and unlike humans, they don’t farm, so this behavior beca their instinct.

However, even orcs sotis form massive hordes.

The first case is when they run out of food in their habitat and repeatedly encounter smaller groups while migrating.

The second is when a higher-ranking individual stops and commands orcs that would normally leave upon maturing.

Since ancient tis, overwhelming numbers in warfare have proven to be an incredibly powerful tactic.

And that applied not only to humans but to monsters too.

Even if each individual orc is just D-rank, a massive horde attacking a village can beco a crisis even for seasoned adventurers.

Now imagine soone suddenly barging into the Adventurers’ Guild, pale-faced, shouting that an orc horde is coming.

That ant an army of orcs large enough to sweep away an entire village was on its way.

The adventurers of Chilture, as well as the guild staff, all hurried to assess the current situation.

“An orc horde!”

anwhile, Claire felt the hatred for monsters that had sowhat quieted down during her ti with the sli flare up once again.

Because orcs were among the monsters that had attacked the village where Claire had once lived.

“Orcs!”

At the sa ti, the sli realized that the orc invasion was exactly the "raid" the viewers had ntioned in the chat.

***

“Grrrrr!”

The orcs marching toward Chilture were furious.

Even orcs, whose intelligence was too low to use the system, had emotions.

They had just enough intelligence to perform basic communication.

After all, without that, they wouldn’t be able to obey orders from higher-ranking individuals.

Their king.

Their apex.

The Orc King gave an order.

March! March! March! Keep moving in the direction I tell you! There lies the human village.

Go attack! Multiply the species! he commanded.

That order was absolute.

The words of the top-ranking Orc King were like a curse engraved into their very instincts.

When the highest-ranking individual gives an order with intent, they must obey without question.

Even so, that didn’t an they carried out the orders like emotionless machines.

They simply had to follow the order — everything else remained the sa as usual.

That’s why the orcs were enraged.

The Orc King hadn’t said anything specific.

He only told them to march in the indicated direction and attack whatever village they found.

Orcs didn’t know geography.

At best, they knew the terrain near their own habitat.

When they first received the order, the orcs thought, “Surely if we walk for a bit, we’ll find a village!”

But that was a misconception.

The orcs marched for days on end.

Endlessly marching.

When will this end? How much longer do we have to keep going?

When will we finally see a human village!!!

The longer the distance, the longer the ti spent marching.

The orcs felt growing rage toward this endless, aimless march.

However, there was no anger toward the Orc King.

Their instincts told them the top-ranking individual was not soone to be blad.

So their anger was directed solely at the humans — the reason they had to keep moving — and the situation itself.

Finally, when they spotted a village, their emotions exploded even more violently.

Joy at finally seeing the village, rage at the humans who caused them this hardship, hunger driving them to devour whatever they found, and a lust to multiply as commanded.

“Grrrrraaaaaa!!!”

Over a hundred orcs went berserk and charged straight at the village.

Even if humans stood before them ard with weapons, they didn’t care.

To the orcs, humans were nothing more than prey to be ravaged.

***

“Grrrrraaaaaa!!!”

The sli, who had co outside the village with Claire and other adventurers to defend it, saw the massive horde of orcs through its vision.

The viewers were watching this scene too.

“Wow, that’s a ton of them.”

[Noblesse Fire] ▶ Wouldn’t one dragon breath wipe them all out?

▶ Stop thinking in dragon standards lol.

▶ Boor mont: doesn’t consider others' perspectives.

[Noblesse Fire] ▶ Where do you live?

▶ Lmaooo.

[Just Slam First] ▶ Kahahaha! Yes! Finally, we get to see so real body slamming action!

▶ That wolf dude is so hyped.”

▶ He’s probably excited because he finally gets to see sothing other than just getting nagged all the ti.

[Just Slam First] ▶ Hey! Shut up!

Unlike the tense adventurers, the viewers typed away nonchalantly, just enjoying the show.

After all, they weren’t the ones fighting, and they didn’t think a re orc horde could take down the sli anyway.

In fact, the most fired-up person in the chat was the sli itself.

▷ Orcs! I’ll take you down!

▶ Lmaooo, do your best.

[Thread-Lady] ▶ Go, squishy~! You can do it~.

[Squishy Queen] ▶ Go, my kin! Annihilate those slly creatures!

[Smooth Wind King] ▶ Why are you suddenly dissing them though?”

Then, the Orc King, who had only participated anonymously until now, joined the chat with a userna.

▶ What the…?

▶ Why did this troll suddenly show up with a na? Lmaooo.

[Smooth Wind King] ▶ I negotiated with Troll to get my nickna unblock.

▶ When did they even negotiate?

▶ If you look at the history, there actually was a negotiation.

▶ Wait, they really agreed to that? LOL

[Free Spirit] ▶ If you troll again, I’m going to max block you along with your anonymous accounts.

▶ Whoa, going hard LOL

▶ That’s how you should handle trolls LOL

▶ Ah! Bun-Tang-x!

The viewers, who didn’t care whether the Orc King was unblocked or not, started asking him questions.

▶ So how many did you send this ti?

[Smooth Wind King] ▶ I sent about 150 this ti. Depending on how the fight goes, I might send more.

▶ Damn LOL they’re really milking this combat content.

‘Bring even more!’

Already fired up, the sli knew that the current orcs weren’t the end, and its fighting spirit burned even brighter.

“Hey.”

While waiting and staring at the orcs, a male adventurer standing next to Claire spoke up.

“What?”

“You’re not seriously thinking of going like that with the sli on you, are you?”

The adventurer frowned, looking at the sli sitting on Claire’s head.

From the outside, it just looked like soone clueless trying to fight while carrying a pet sli.

“You might bring it along on solo quests, but now’s the ti to really fight. Leave the sli in the village and co back.”

Even though they didn’t say it out loud, the other adventurers agreed with the man in their hearts.

It couldn’t be helped that they felt that way.

They had never actually seen the sli fight.

At most, they had only seen it trembling on top of Claire’s head.

The adventurers in Chilture suspected that the sli Claire had was the sa sli that Godrick’s party had been searching for.

They had seen the flyers too.

Stuff like "It’s fast," "It glows," "It understands human speech," and "It’s friendly with people" — all kinds of weird descriptions.

Even if it was fast, they thought that was only fast for a sli.

So they worried that if she kept it on her head during the fight, it might fall off and get in the way.

To those people, Claire didn’t offer any long explanation and simply said, plainly, “It’s fine. Tongtong is strong.”

“A sli might be strong, but how strong could it really be…”

“Stronger than .”

“What?”

For a mont, the adventurers thought they had misheard her.

“What did you just say…”

“Wizards, prepare!”

Just as they were about to ask again, the adventurer in charge shouted.

The orc horde had started to enter spell range.

All the adventurers stopped chatting and looked forward.

The wizards waiting in the rear all began gathering mana to prepare their strongest spells.

“Now! Fire!”

Fwoooooosh!

Boom!

Crackle!

Violent flas, wind cannons, lightning spears, and giant rocks all flew toward the orc horde.

The orcs charging in the front lines were hit by magic, losing their lives or being blown far away.

Even so, the orcs didn’t falter and kept charging forward.

The frustration and rage built up from endless marching wouldn’t die down so easily.

“Archers! Fire!”

Fwip fwip fwip fwip fwip!

While the wizards prepared their next spells, the archers imdiately fired their arrows.

The arrows arced through the air, pouring down on the orcs like rain.

So orcs were hit in vital spots and died on the spot; others fell awkwardly and got trampled by their fellow orcs.

However, most of the orcs kept charging even after being hit.

“What the hell are they!”

“Why aren’t they slowing down at all!”

The adventurers panicked at the unstoppable charge of the orcs, who rushed like berserkers.

Despite the repeated barrage of spells and arrows, only fifty orcs had been taken down.

Over a hundred still remained.

The frontline adventurers exhaled roughly and drew their weapons.

They were ready to charge the mont the signal ca.

Then.

Boing!

‘Orcs! I’ll take you down!’

The sli jumped off Claire’s head and bounded toward the orcs.

Boing! Boing!

“Hey! Your sli—!”

“It’s fine.”

“No, what do you an, ‘it’s fine’!”

Just as the adventurer next to Claire tried to argue again.

Boing!

Thwack!

“Grrraaah!”

The sli slamd into the frontmost orc with a bouncing tackle.

The orc was sent flying, knocking several orcs behind it off balance, which caused even more orcs further back to fall and stopped their charge.

Of course, the sli’s attack didn’t stop there.

Boing!

After landing from the first tackle, it imdiately jumped toward another nearby orc.

Thwack!

“Grrrraaagh!”

Once again, the orc that got tackled was sent flying, dragging along more of its comrades.

“What… what is that sli!”

The scene was truly unbelievable.

All the adventurers, except Claire, widened their eyes as they watched the sli’s outrageous actions.

At that mont, Claire asked the commanding adventurer, “Aren’t you going?”

Even if the sli stopped so orcs, the rest were still charging.

“…! Go now!!!”

The commander, coming back to his senses, gave the signal.

“Uwaaaaah!”

Likewise, the adventurers who snapped back to reality all charged toward the orcs.
