While the chat was filling up with lines of “😂😂😂,” the sli observed the goblin.

‘Goblin!’

To the sli, the goblin looked similar to an elf.

It was small in size, but the general appearance was close enough.

The sli, who had a favorable impression of the elf who had treated it kindly, was influenced by that mory.

‘I want to know!’

The sli wanted to learn more about this creature it was seeing for the first ti.

Thinking the goblin resembled an elf, the sli felt a desire to see it from up close.

Boing! Boing!

Bouncing along, the sli approached the goblin.

[Free Spirit]▶??? Squishy! What are you doing? Why are you going near it?

▷ Not human! Won’t attack!

The sli had been warned beforehand that humans could attack it.

But the one who gave that warning had said this creature wasn’t human.

Then surely the creature in front of it must be safe, right?

‘I underestimated Squishy’s innocence too much!’

Smack!

Troll smacked his own skull with a bony hand.

It was the one that had given the warning.

And from the sli’s perspective, it looked similar to an elf.

With just that thought, the sli carelessly approached the goblin.

Troll believed that humans should be the most carefully avoided.

But that didn’t an other creatures were automatically safe.

Even if they weren’t human, so would show hostility for no reason.

There were monsters who broadcast their slaughter for entertainnt.

And goblins were one such type of monster.

Especially the highest-ranking kind that could host broadcasts—like the Goblin King.

The Goblin King would film content of attacking other monsters or humans just because he was bored.

What’s worse, he would only give the orders and watch from the back.

Those who watched this kind of content found it hilarious how goblins would charge ahead with numbers, ignoring their inherent limitations.

Of course, while going overboard with these attacks, increasing the scope and target of their hunts, they would eventually get caught and hunted down—always part of the package.

There was less danger in attacking low-intelligence monsters, but when it ca to humans, the damage could provoke suspicion and investigations into the Goblin King’s involvent.

That’s why a Goblin King rarely survived long once a broadcast began.

Troll hesitated, debating whether to warn the sli in the chat.

And at that very mont—

[Squishy Queen]▶ My kin! Cease your approach! Just because it’s not human doesn’t an it won’t attack you!

The Sli Queen quickly sent a warning.

But the sli, already full of curiosity about the goblin, didn’t even see the chat.

In the end, the sli revealed itself in front of the goblin.

Boing!

-!

Startled by the sudden appearance of the sli, the goblin froze mid-step.

But the mont it realized the creature was a sli, the goblin relaxed.

And then ca the sneer.

The goblin chuckled as it looked down at the sli.

Assigned to a tedious patrol, the goblin had been irritated.

It wanted to rest in the cave but kept being ordered to scout the surroundings.

But it couldn’t refuse.

If it disobeyed, a stronger hobgoblin would beat it up.

So with that irritation, it had gone on patrol—and ran into a sli.

A sli.

A creature clearly weaker than itself.

Small ant weak.

It was stronger.

It was better.

So it could do as it pleased.

Because that thing was weaker than it!

Thinking in the typical goblin fashion, it stared at the sli.

‘I saw you!’

Sensing the goblin’s gaze, the sli was purely delighted.

But other viewers, who could read that look well, instantly caught on.

▶Ah, this goblin.

▶It’s looking down on the sli, huh?

▶Look at this goblin punk laughing at a sli😂😂

▶That classic “You’re trash” look in its eyes! Classic goblin! Hilarious!

▶But who’d win in a fight—Squishy or the goblin?

▶Does that look like a weak evolved form to you?

▶Squishy wins easily😂😂

▶It one-shots deer. No way it loses to so goblin😂😂

▶Ah! Instant karma, lmao!

▶Can’t we just kick that bastard out already?

Everyone could tell the goblin would be counterattacked the mont it tried to harm the sli.

The sli had grown stronger thanks to Fenrir’s training.

So to the viewers, the goblin looked like nothing more than an ignorant fool poking a bear.

A clown about to deliver a funny performance.

All attention was now on how the goblin would get wrecked by the sli.

And just as expected, the goblin lifted one foot.

Intending to stomp and squish the sli flat.

Giggling, the goblin brought its foot down on the sli.

If it had been a weak sli, the goblin’s stomp alone would have caused serious damage.

But—

Boing!

This sli wasn’t ordinary—it was a Bounce Sli.

Its elasticity was on a completely different level from your typical sli.

Though the goblin stepped on it, the unexpected rebound caused the goblin to be flung backward.

Splat!

-Kkyaaagh!

With a sharp impact to the back of its head, the goblin rolled side to side clutching its skull.

▶😂😂😂

▶Knew that would happen😂😂

▶What a dumbass goblin😂😂

[Squishy Queen]▶Pfft! That’s what you get for underestimating My kin, foolish goblin!

Not a single viewer sided with the goblin.

‘?’

anwhile, the sli, who had bounced the goblin away, tilted its body in confusion.

It couldn’t tell whether what the goblin did was an attack or not.

Well, it didn’t hurt at all!

Rolling on the ground, the goblin angrily got back up and glared at the sli.

Just a sli—and yet.

A re sli—dared to hurt it.

Had shad it.

Even a goblin with low intelligence that couldn’t recognize an opponent’s strength knew this much.

If it stepped on the sli again, it would just fall over.

The goblin struck the sli with a wooden stick of decent size it was holding.

From the goblin’s perspective, it was a powerful strike.

But—

Boing!

The blow bounced off due to the Bounce Sli’s elasticity.

Just like when it was stepped on, the attack barely left a scratch.

-Kyaaaah!

The enraged goblin continued swinging the stick.

Boing! Boing! Boing!

The sli’s body wobbled with every hit.

To any observer, it was nothing short of a cody act.

▶😂😂😂

▶He’s not learning😂😂

▶Exactly goblin-level intelligence;;

[Thread-Lady] ▶ Kyaa! Even a wobbly Squishy is adorable~

[Squishy Queen]▶Why are you just taking the hits, My kin! Punish that arrogant thing now!

[Just Slam First]▶Yeah! Smash it! Smash it good!

▶Teach him a lesson😂😂

▶22222

▶33333

Even if it’s a sli—

Even if it takes no damage—

Getting hit repeatedly like this made it clear the goblin was attacking.

‘Goblin! Attacking ! Bad!’

The sli understood what it ant to attack.

It ant causing pain to soone.

And the goblin kept trying to hurt it.

Again and again!

The sli rembered the pain it felt after eating poison grass.

It was a sensation it never wanted to feel again.

The sli got angry at the goblin trying to hurt it.

It jumped away, creating distance from the goblin that kept hitting it.

-Kiiiik!

The goblin, thinking it arrogant that the sli dared to run away after being hit, chased after it.

Boing!

But the sli moved before the goblin could even begin chasing.

Boing! Boing! Boing! Boing!

The sli darted around the goblin in all directions.

It was reenacting the movents Fenrir had shown just three days ago.

The goblin couldn’t follow the sli’s frantic movents with its eyes.

It tried hard to track the sli, but its eyes only grew dizzier from the speed.

At the mont when the goblin’s mind went blank from the dizzying display—

Boioing!

The sli seized the opening and launched a Bounce Tackle at the goblin’s side.

Splat!

-Kgyaghhh!

At the mont of impact, the goblin’s waist bent into a sharp angle, and a loud crack echoed as its ribs broke.

But that wasn’t the end.

This was the sa Bounce Tackle powerful enough to launch a much heavier deer into the air.

The goblin took the hit head-on and was sent flying into a tree.

Its spine bent like a bow as it crashed against the tree with a sickening thud.

Crack!

Its spine snapped.

The scene was funny and painful enough to make people groan just watching it.

▶That thing is definitely broken.

▶Got wrecked by a sli, huh? What a weakling!

▶Goblin, sign here! Declare that you are weaker than a sli!

[Just Slam First] ▶Khahaha! Nice! You did exactly what I taught you! Great job, Squishy!

[Squishy Queen]▶What?! When did you teach it that kind of move?

[Thread-Lady]▶Squishy~ you’re amazing!

While the chat buzzed with laughter at the defeated goblin and praise for the victorious sli—

Troll was taking the result positively.

‘With this, Squishy must’ve learned not to approach unknown creatures carelessly.’

He figured the sli would be more cautious when it t humans.

[Free Spirit]▶Squishy! Got it now? Even if it’s not human or looks interesting, don’t go near right away! You might get attacked!

▷Yup! Won’t go close right away! I’ll watch from a distance!

▶😂😂 Observing first is important;;

▶Can’t we just charge in anyway?

▶Going full reckless mode is more fun😂😂

The sli, having defeated the an goblin and gained a new lesson, now had one thing left to do—absorb the fallen goblin.

But the sli didn’t even approach the dead goblin and instead bounced away toward the edge of the forest.

Boing! Boing!

▶??? Not gonna eat the goblin?

In response to the anonymous viewer’s question, the sli quickly typed in chat.

▷Goblin bad! Hate! Won’t eat!

▶Yeah, goblins aren’t even worth eating😂😂

Honestly, it’s better not to.

▶Goblins are nasty.

▶Doesn’t sli usually not care about stuff like that?

▶What do you expect😂😂 It just hates it😂😂

It was the mont the sli developed a food preference of its own.

***

Two days after the encounter with the goblin.

While defeating goblins along the way, the sli was moving toward the edge of the forest.

And at last, it could see scenery other than dense trees.

‘Wooooow!’

A vast grassland stretched as far as the eye could see.

And a road, clearly built by humans, made for easy travel.

Though it wasn’t particularly remarkable, To the sli who had only seen forests to the point of boredom, it was a touching sight.

▷Forest! I’m out! So excited!

[Free Spirit]▶Clap clap clap

[Noblesse Fire] ▶So the boring forest arc is finally over?

▶Boor, you haven’t shown up for a week, and you’re bored?

[Noblesse Fire]▶You think I’m so free I’d just hang out in this one chatroom?

▶Boor’s too busy giving lectures in open chats all day;;

The Fla Dragon’s nagging had gone on for decades.

So had getting banned for decades.

That’s why Fla Dragon’s notoriety was infamous across all broadcast chats.

▶😂😂😂😂

▶You never get tired of it😂😂

[Noblesse Fire] Hey! Where do you live! I said, where do you live!!

▶Not telling~ 😜

Trembling with joy, the sli expressed its happiness at finally seeing sothing other than the forest.

And just as the sli was rejoicing—

A greater joy was approaching.

Clop clop clop.

A carriage was approaching from afar along the road.
