The sli bounced softly through the bushes, its squishy body jiggling.

‘I want to see it!’

What exactly did it sense?

The sli was excited, wondering what new things it might see.

Viewers were also curious about what the sli would encounter for the first ti.

[Gothic Luxury Bone] ▶ What will our Squishy encounter?

[Noblesse Fire] Probably just so animals in a forest like that, right?

▶Humans are animals too ᄋᄋ

[Squishy Queen] ▶ Anything but humans! Absolutely not!

So felt no sense of danger, so were already predicting the worst, while others worried about everything—the reactions were mixed.

Continuing toward the lifeform it had sensed with its detection skill, the sli finally ca face to face with the creature it had detected.

‘Wow!’

Everything was new and amazing to the sli, and in its eyes appeared a single deer.

▶A wild deer has appeared!

[Noblesse Fire] Ah, that’s a bit disappointing.

▶But isn’t a deer still dangerous to a sli?

[Just Slam First] ▶ If it uses the body slam I taught, a deer’s nothing!

‘A deer? A deer!’

Now beginning to pay attention to the chat, the sli read the comnts and realized the creature in front of it was a deer.

‘I want to see more!’

Boing! Boing! Squishy bounced toward the deer.

The deer, lowering its head to eat so grass, noticed the round, light green sli approaching.

The deer stopped eating when it saw the suddenly approaching monster and stared directly at the sli.

Deer are near the bottom of the wild food chain.

They’re hunted not only by humans but also by monsters.

That’s why wild animals have developed instincts to recognize what is or isn’t a threat to them in order to survive.

This deer also had well-developed instincts.

If it had been a goblin, it would’ve turned and kicked instantly.

If it had been a human or an orc-like monster, it would have run away imdiately.

But.

‘Wooooow……!’

The deer didn’t sense any hostility or killing intent from the sli approaching it.

The sli just bounced near it and then stopped moving.

Letting down its guard, the deer lowered its head again and resud eating grass.

To the sli, watching the deer graze was fascinating and strangely familiar.

As if not wanting to experience the emotion alone, the sli even posted in the chat.

▷ It's eating! Grass! It's eating grass!

▶Yeah, it's just a grass-eating deer.

▶What the, why isn’t the deer running?

▶Usually they bolt at first sight of anything!

▷ I wanna eat too!

The sli, mimicking the deer, absorbed the grass right below it.

▶What happened to the epic deer duel?

▶It’s turned into a food stream all of a sudden.

▶Ah! Xs!

▶First ti seeing an animal that doesn’t flee even with a monster nearby.

Normally, encountering a monster ans hunting for the monster and fleeing for the animal.

But contrary to such common sense, watching them peacefully eat grass together left the viewers bewildered.

[Thread-Lady] ▶Kyaah! So cute~

Of course, so were focused solely on the sli’s cuteness regardless of the situation.

***

‘So squishy~ Watching it eat grass is just adorable~ Just like our babies~’

On a continent different from where the sli lived, Derxia.

In a deep forest of the monster-dominated land called the Monster Continent, Monstopia.

A monster with the upper body of a mature human woman and the lower body of a giant spider.

The highest-ranking species among spider-type monsters.

Arachne.

Userna: Thread-Lady.

She watched the sli’s stream with a beaming smile.

Towards Arachne, multiple spider-type monsters crawled along webs.

They were all her offspring.

– Oh my, what’s wrong, babies? Hungry? Just wait a mont~.

With a motherly smile, Arachne controlled her silk and brought one of the pre-wrapped stored preys to her children.

Wrapped in silk was a massive bear-like monster capable of easily destroying an entire village.

Redmoon Bear.

But in the Monster Continent Monstopia, it was still considered prey.

As Arachne laid the food down, dozens of small spider monsters rushed toward it at once.

– Aww~ Even the way you eat is so cute~ My babies~.

To Arachne, whether it was the sli eating grass or her children devouring a Redmoon Bear, it was all just cute creatures eating.

‘Streaming monsters are usually all grown up and twisted, not cute at all~. But our Squishy is soooo special. Hehe, I can’t wait to see how it grows.’

With such hopes, Arachne kept watching the sli’s stream.

On screen, the deer, now done eating, lifted its head and ran off, with the sli bouncing behind it in pursuit.

‘Kyaaah! Even the way it chases is cute~’

The sli bounced along behind the deer.

The sight alone brought smiles to viewers’ faces, but the mood didn’t last long.

Thwack!

An arrow flew from sowhere and struck the deer in the side.

***

The outside of the cave was endlessly fascinating and amazing to the sli.

Among everything, the deer stood out as the most intriguing.

It also ate grass and moved, just like the sli, but was much bigger—a fact that naturally sparked interest.

So when the deer moved, the sli followed.

‘Deer!’

Where was the deer going?

What was it going to do next?

With no real thoughts, the sli just followed the moving deer.

Simply watching the deer from behind brought the sli joy.

[Noblesse Fire] ▶Why is it following?

[Gothic Luxury Bone] ▶It’s probably fascinated since it’s its first ti seeing a deer.

[Just Slam First] ▶Why isn’t it using a body slam?! It’s the perfect target!

▶Tsk tsk, such a twisted heart.

▶How could you say that about our cute little deer-kun!

▶Today’s lunch is deer.

▶Hmmm…… Nice deer booty view tho?

▶Excuse ?

As the chat filled with random chatter—

Thwack!

On screen, seen by both the sli and the viewers, the deer was struck by an arrow.

▶???

▶Huh?

▶D-dEEEeeeeer!!

‘What’s that?’

The suddenly appearing arrow and the deer collapsing beside it.

The sli froze in place, unable to understand what had just happened.

‘The deer isn't moving! It collapsed!’

The sli tried to go over to the fallen deer.

But just then—

▶[Squishy Queen has donated 1 coin.]

▶ [ssage: Hide right now! Imdiately! Hide in the bushes or wherever you can! Hurry!]

The Sli Queen urgently warned the sli.

The fact that an arrow had been fired ant the shooter was nearby.

That may not an much for monsters living in the Monster Continent, but for the sli, it was a direct threat to its life.

Because that ant a human was around.

▶From deer-healing to instant survival lmao

▶Now this is what I call quality content.

▶Almost told it to charge straight ahead lol

[Thread-Lady] ▶ No, no, no, my adorable Squishy, run away quickly!

[Free Spirit] ▶ You really have to be careful of those nasty humans! Hurry up and run!

The chat was filled with people either enjoying the chaos or genuinely worried for the rare, healing-type newbie.

anwhile, through past experiences, the sli had learned that the voices it heard through ssages weren’t bad for it.

‘Hide!’

Following the advice in the ssage, the sli hid itself in the nearby bushes.

A mont after the sli hid—

The sound of footsteps approached, and the one who shot the arrow finally appeared.

The person had long light-green hair, blue eyes, and wore green clothes that blended with the forest, along with pointed ears.

With a bow in hand, it was obvious to anyone that this pointy-eared being was the one who fired the arrow.

▶An elf!

▶ So it wasn’t a nasty human but an elf.

▶Not as bad as humans, but elves are still pretty toxic lol

▶You’re dead at if they find you lmao

The elf who had appeared looked down at the deer it had struck.

“Caught a pretty good one.”

With skilled movents, the elf untied a rope from their waist and bound the deer’s legs.

Then, they hung the deer upside down from a nearby tree and began draining its blood with a dagger.

▶Tsk tsk tsk, you gotta drink the blood too!

▶Only amateurs don’t know the rich taste in blood.

▶Honestly, that blood’s a waste.

▶Now I’m craving venison for real.

While the chat was filled with comnts from people who didn’t understand other species' eating customs, the sli observed both the bleeding deer and the elf next to it.

The sli had been surprised when the deer fell from the arrow.

However, it didn’t feel sadness about the deer being hunted.

Even if it had felt a bond from eating the sa grass, the deer was just a creature it had t monts ago.

More than grief over the deer’s death, the sli was far more curious about the new lifeform and what it was doing.

And so, the sli had one thought.

‘I want to know!’

It wanted to know more.

That was the very impulse it had carried from the beginning.

And the sli had realized sothing in the cave—

Charge first, ask later.

Sothing it had learned from Fenrir when practicing the body slam.

If you don’t know, just ask!

▷ What is that?

The sli, who rarely typed in chat except to show amazent, posted a ssage.

Naturally, it drew the viewers’ attention.

▶Ah, you an that? It’s a Kanf. A Kanf.

▷Kanf?

▶That’s just a nickna. That kind of being is called an elf lol

▷Elf?

▶Hold up! What’s an elf? Unlike nasty humans, they live longer, mostly in forests, and are slightly less toxic. They mainly use bows and control spirits, but they attack monsters like us—truly the worst.........

▶Exposition overload incoming lol

[Squishy Queen] ▶ Elf or Kanf, whatever! Just don’t go near them!

Seeing all the chatter in response to its question, the sli organized the information it had gathered.

And then—

‘Elf!’

Leaving aside the complicated stuff, it understood one thing clearly: the creature was an elf.

Excited at learning sothing new, the sli trembled.

Its trembling made the bushes rustle softly.

The sound was very faint, but—

“......! What’s that?”

The elf’s sharp ears caught it anyway.

The elf quickly notched an arrow and aid it toward the bushes.

▶Oh no, You’re screwed.

▶Short but sweet ride, folks.

[Squishy Queen] ▶ No! Run right now!

[Just Slam First] Just slam it! Hit it!

The chat grew increasingly tense in response to the elf’s reaction.

anwhile, the sli, still unaware it was in danger, saw the arrow the elf had drawn and beca curious.

‘Wow! What’s that?’

New things it didn’t recognize just kept popping up.

The sli couldn’t contain its emotions and impulse, so it bounced out from the bush.

[Squishy Queen] ▶N-no, fellow sli! Don’t do it!

The Sli Queen was horrified at the sli’s sudden leap from the bushes.

[Just Slam First]▶ Yeah! Are you gonna slam it?!

Fenrir thought the sli had gathered its courage.

[Noblesse Fire] ▶??? Why is it coming out?

The fire dragon simply expressed confusion.

Boing!

Most of the viewers imagined the sli getting pierced by an arrow in the next mont.

However—

“A sli?”

The elf, seeing the sli pop out of the bushes, lowered their arrow instead.

“Oh, it’s nothing.”

If it had been a goblin, the elf would’ve shot it right between the eyes.

If it had been another animal, they would’ve seen it as extra prey and fired without hesitation.

But a sli?

Not particularly threatening and not worth hunting either.

The elf, now annoyed, waved their hand dismissively at the sli.

“This is my catch, okay? Don’t even think about it—just get lost.”

And with that—

▶Loooooooooool

▶Loooooooooool

▶That’s hilarious lololol

Laughter exploded in the chat.
