This post is to vent and also to give everyone a heads-up.
Do not buy the new custom product "gene seed" listed in the Trading House; I’ve been punished for my greed for a bargain.
Here’s what happened.
I recently stockpiled so sacrificial power, planning to use it to improve my Body Refining Level and to hunt in my Main Form later on.
To save on Body Refining Experience enhancent costs, I’d often scour the Trading House for bargains, specifically targeting Spirit Plants that were cheaper than cost price.
Today, I spotted a new special product "gene seed" in the custom items section of the Trading House.
The product description indicated that consumption could increase Body Refining Level but would cause bodily harm during the enhancent process. I thought, what’s there to fear from damage, even if my limbs break, I can be reborn through resurrection.
After consulting Guidance, I confird that I could indeed gain more Body Refining Experience than the cost, so I spent 380 sacrificial power points to buy one.
This decision made regret it so much that I turned green with envy.
Initially, I didn’t take it seriously; in my mind, I was even thinking about hunting with the team later.
But the feedback from the strengthening gave a lesson.
How do I describe it? It was like a Spiritual Bomb exploded inside , or as if millions of fine needles pierced every inch of my skin all at once, the phrase ’a heart eaten by countless ants’ visualized in my mind, the pain nearly suffocated , and my body convulsed uncontrollably.

I was nearly depleted when the strengthening process ended.

The enhancent gave an additional 534 points of Body Refining Experience, whereas the cost of purchasing the Genetic Potion was 380 sacrificial power points, plus the expenditure of 15 Healing Potions, the total cost was 530 sacrificial power points.
