"No way, the scene modeling is so excellent, and the physics are perfect too, but why is this purple-skinned monster’s modeling so awful? I can’t even look at it."
"I’m dying of laughter, that monster with a leg growing out of its head, the modeling of this monster is tearing itself apart."
"The decomp info says this is a Jile Evil Spirit, so it’s okay for it to look a bit weird, right? I think this is just a ga setting, the design idea is to create a life form with a rather chaotic body structure, presenting a sense of twisted madness."
"I’m okay with what you said upstairs, but can you tell why that Jile Evil Spirit is lying on the ground being trampled to death by a friendly monster?"
"I’m laughing to tears, this Jile Evil Spirit is just too abstract, are the monsters in Newbie Village already ssing with players? Refund!"
...
The Newbie Army quickly engaged in battle with the Purple Tide.
But the battle process was abstract on both sides.
On the players’ side, the fight was like a brawl between punks, with no rhy or reason, and sotis due to disputes over monsters, they even fought each other.
On the side of the Jile Clan, the brain cells of the Jile Warriors on the Tower were almost fried.
The Jile Evil Spirits under its control often froze in battle, zoned out, collapsed suddenly rolling on the ground, or attacked the wrong targets.
The newbie players watched dumbfounded, exclaiming that the monster intelligence was too low.
But the hunting level of the Jile Evil Spirits was all 6 , and with their numbers far exceeding the newbie players, they had the newbies howling, and the battle line crumbled at the touch.
The scene could be described as a slap fight between noobs.
Just when the Newbie Army thought their own side would collapse, a strange scene occurred.
The Jile Evil Spirits, advancing in a tumble, seed to encounter an invisible barrier, and after crossing it, they suddenly collapsed, unable to move.
After several batches fell, the Jile Evil Spirits began to retreat, glaring fiercely at the newbie players from across the invisible barrier.
This scene left the newbie players baffled, but Qi Sheng, who was observing from behind, understood what happened.
One of the functions of the Jile Tower is signal amplification, and the mind control released by the Jile Warriors is expanded through the Tower, but as soon as they get out of the spiritual connection’s range, the Jile Evil Spirits experience a freeze due to not being able to receive a signal.
This is also why the Jile Evil Spirits couldn’t get up after collapsing, unable to make any movents.
Seeing such a foolish monster AI, newbie players complained in the regional voice channel.
This scene was also recorded as a video by newbie players and posted on the forum.
[Old players get in here and explain, what the hell is this?]
Post by: Flying High
Content: I was truly amazed when I just entered the ga.
I give full marks to the scene modeling, full marks to the physical representation as well (haven’t found any issues yet), but what the hell is this (video attachnt).
At first, I encountered a group of giant bears, and I thought the monster modeling was so refined, pupils, fur, movents, all perfect.
Until our newbie army encountered the Jile Evil Spirit.
This group of monsters left dumbfounded, it even felt like suddenly switching to a different ga.
Missing limbs, arms growing out of heads, heads on chests, uncoordinated limbs... Apart from a few models that look sowhat normal, most monster models are abstract and glitch through models.
If it was just a modeling issue, I could understand it as the setting.
The Moon Eclipse Clan intentionally designed this chaotic and disorderly abstract style as part of the monster system in the ga.
But the problem is the monster AI performance is too poor, it feels like the latency is too high, actions are jerky and stuttering, sotis freezing in place, sotis suddenly twitching in place.
The attacking style is abstract too, they even hit their own monsters, making it hard for to fight seriously, I couldn’t stop laughing several tis, laughing so hard I almost lost strength to punch, it’s too much.
So, do the monsters in the Dark Land have internet lag too?
This monster’s not a setting problem at all, it has to be a design BUG.
What do old players think?
...
After reading the post’s content, old players also laughed out loud.
How the monster AI behaves in the ga, how could they not know?
The learning and growth abilities of the two Evil Bosses in Imperial Tomb Village are torturous, they always thought the AI intensity was too high and needed to be nerfed.
So when they saw the newbie complaint, they were puzzled.
Not until they clicked to see the video of the Jile Evil Spirit Army advancing did they lose it completely.
Dark Night Will Co: Hahaha, Purple Tide, huh? The Lord of Jile really knows how to create content, actually replicated a Black Tide System, I’m dying of laughter, this wave didn’t lose, newbies farm well, it’s all gains without losses, the Lord of Jile is known in the community as the Lord of Joy, or the Lord of Welfare, aning it can bring joy and welfare to players, if not for the low hunting level, the profits would’ve been nothing compared to the Emperor Tomb Mountain Range, I’d definitely go farm a wave well.
Flying High replies to Dark Night Will Co: What do you an, what’s all this Purple Tide and Black Tide, I don’t understand.
Dark Night Will Co replies to Flying High: Co to the Emperor Tomb Mountain Range and you’ll see, right now you’re dealing with a poor replica version, abstraction is normal, because these aren’t real monsters, they’re all knock-offs.
Tea Master: Drinking Spiritual Juice by the beach, watching this made laugh out loud, what is the Lord of Welfare trying to do? Crazy, imitating the Black Tide natural disaster to create a Purple Tide natural disaster, wouldn’t it be better to develop the Joy Palace normally? I get angry thinking about last ti it suddenly closed and refused guests, didn’t even get to enjoy killing enough before closing, not considering our players’ feelings, infuriating.
I Love Sweet and Sour Spareribs: I have a guess, maybe it’s because the Lord of Welfare wants to progress too much, think about why it hides in the Jile Palace, it must feel it’s not strong enough, can’t compete with those cheating outside, but it hasn’t given up, enduring humiliation, capturing living creatures to play them to death in the Jile Palace, putting all the produced Power of Extre Joy into developnt, the imitation target is the Black Tide, so the new scene might be the technical developnt center of the Lord of Welfare.
XL’s Little Account: You’re all seeing the fun, but what I see is the heartache and tears of soone with no talent struggling to catch up with cheaters, the Lord of Welfare is amazing, so developnt must consu a lot of resources, I’d suggest opening more nodes to receive guests, I’d definitely support, sacrificing myself to produce Power of Extre Joy for you.

Seeing the Purple Tide Army, the forum’s old players were at a loss for words between laughter and tears.
After watching the video, they not only didn’t think the monster AI was a problem, but rather the monster AI setting was too high.
In a world they hadn’t explored or discovered, every force was striving to grow.
For example, the Lord of Jile was continuously learning and improving, imitating and attempting to replicate and improve the army structure of powerful forces.
But undoubtedly, the current stage of Purple Tide hasn’t captured the essence of Black Tide at all, nor the sense of oppression Black Tide should have.
Just as newbie players said, the state of Jile Evil Spirits was very much like having excessively high network latency, and the combat style was too abstract.
Forum players had a lively discussion on this issue.
Through the old players’ explanations, newbie players also understood the reason.
They learned that the Jile Evil Spirits in the scene were all poorly replicated creations, not true monsters in the real sense.
anwhile, news of a player clan’s presence in the Frosty Winter Snowfield was relayed by the Jile Warriors controlling the Purple Tide to the mind of the Lord of Jile hiding in an independent space.
