"Of course, it’s for the hidden rewards. Haven’t you seen the many strategy posts on the forum? Many special rewards are discovered while exploring unknown scenes. The Frosty Winter Snowfield map is still in its initial exploration phase. There must be plenty of Easter egg scenes hidden around. Finding them will make us rich."
"Stop the nonsense and hurry up with the developnt. There’s already a significant power gap between us and the Human Clan. Let’s try to catch up soon... I wonder which map the Moon Eclipse Clan is in. Their strength is probably higher than the Human Clan. Once I’ve grown stronger, I won’t stop until I’ve driven them out of the ga."
Directly ahead, a handso white-haired Tianyu Clan mber nudged the campfire with a stick and said angrily:
Yu Ling heard this, swallowed the food in his mouth, and looked up at his good buddy:
"You’re just all talk. Every ti you speak about slaughtering the Moon Eclipse Clan, you end up running with your tail between your legs, then resurrect and vow to kill them next ti. But have you ever actually won?"
"Of course I have. I counted, in the last Conquest ga, I killed at least 300 Moon Eclipse Clan mbers."
"And how many tis were you killed?"
"That wasn’t recorded, it’s not important."
Upon hearing this, the group of Tianyu Clan mbers around the campfire burst into laughter.
Fighting against the Moon Eclipse Clan has always been a tradition for Tianyu Clan mbers playing virtual gas, as well as for many Earth groups.
Every ga features an Alien Alliance opposing the dominance of the Moon Eclipse Clan in virtual gas.
This ga is no exception. Although they haven’t yet seen the Moon Eclipse Clan players, they are already prepared for future resistance.
After a short break, under the leadership of Yu Ling, the group flapped their wings and soared into the sky.
Above, the cold wind was fierce, whistling past their cheeks.
The Tianyu Clan mbers moved with their physical bodies, without any Life Soul Attribute protection, feeling as if every bit of their skin was being assaulted by the cold, making their teeth chatter.
Amid strong air currents, they struggled to maintain balance. Each flap of their wings felt like a battle with nature, and their breath turned labored and painful as the chilled air poured into their lungs, making it feel as if their throats were gripped by an invisible hand.
Snowflakes continuously pelted their bodies, accumulating on the white hair only to be blown away by the gusts of wind, a cycle that repeated over and over.
"Oh my god, I’m going to freeze to death. How about we switch to Life Soul Form and walk over?"
A Tianyu Clan player complained in the team voice channel.
"As a mber of the Tianyu Clan, saying ’walk’ is embarrassing, isn’t it? We are the eagles who soar the skies. The sky is our domain; we fear no fierce cold winds, we fight the boundless sky."
As Yu Ling spoke, he gave a shiver. The cold wind at his mouth made his face change color suddenly, and his body trembled, drawing laughter from his friends.
Chatting idly, over a dozen figures shuttled through the airspace above the silvery snowfields, slicing through the silent and deep winter landscape.
Half an hour later, the Challenger Tips echoed in their minds:
[Challenger Tips: A new scene discovered: Snow Giant Mountain Ridge, awarded 300 points of sacrificial power (shared among team players).]
With the notification, the map popped open automatically, and the mist around their location dispersed, unveiling the golden words "Snow Giant Mountain Ridge."
The team chat channel imdiately erupted in cheers.
At that mont, over a dozen figures dove down, going through the flying snow before landing with folded wings.
Ahead lay a Snow Ridge, blanketed in pure white snow.
Between the ridges, ravines crisscrossed, and glaciers intersected like the veins of the earth.
Yu Ling and his companions decided to start their exploration here, searching for potentially hidden reward scenes.
Climbing upward along the rugged mountain path, they could see the dazzling starry sky stretching across the horizon, a majestic and awe-inspiring spectacle.
"Get ready." Yu Ling said sternly at this point.
He raised his hand to form a Scatter Arrow Bow, while those without Scatter Arrow Souls equipped took out various weapons purchased from the Trading House.
Scanning their gaze ahead, they saw a group of rotund, adorably clumsy snow monsters.
Focusing their gaze, decomposition information flowed into their minds:
[Snowball]:
Hunting Level: 2
Target Decomposition: A low-level monster from the Frost Winter Snow Region ecological chain’s bottom tier, and a major food source for high hunting level snowfield monsters.
...
Seeing that this group of rotund monsters only had a Hunting Level of 2, Yu Ling and the others were thrilled.
These monsters posed no threat and were perfect for leveling up.
A group of Tianyu Clan warriors swiftly switched to Life Soul forms, plunging into the Snowball crowd to initiate slaughter mode.
When attacked, the Snowballs puffed up like inflatable balls, head-butting the Tianyu Clan mbers, though this thod of attack posed no real threat.
Before long, the small team led by Yu Ling had slaughtered dozens of Snowballs.
The ground was covered with fur left after extraction.
Through decomposition, it was found that these furs were spiritual materials that could be sacrificed to Emperor Zhao or made into warm clothing.
The unexpected gain left the team mbers invigorated.
One of the joys of gaming for them was leveling up by monster hunting, especially the joy that ca with monster drops.
While the Monster World doesn’t feature a random equipnt drop system, eliminating the sense of unknown expectation during treasure hunting, the material drop system adds a layer of realism.
They packed dozens of furs into their Space Bags and continued their journey.
Calling up the map, they were now 27 kiloters in a straight line from the Newbie Village exit.
In the top right corner of the map, there’s a real-ti weather change indicator, but the Frost Winter Snow Region constantly remains snowy without any variation.
