After searching for a while, they finally encountered a still-operational maintenance robot in the ruins. The remaining three players, one inlays a Binding Soul, adhering in a salamander form to the captain’s chest.
The other two teammates, one inlays a Light Shield Soul, and the other enhances the Eagle-Headed Demon Perception.
This combination can utilize the perception of the Eagle-Headed Demon to detect targets and provide real-ti environntal alerts, the Rock Shield to absorb damage, and the Power Barbarian Axe for output.
When facing powerful attacks, the captain can also activate Petrification Form to withstand the damage with his body.
Also, with the control and extra defense brought by the Light Shield and Binding, they are entirely capable of hunting stronger targets.
This idea is quite bold.
It’s a de facto combined skill.
Having defense (stone statue, Rock Shield, Light Shield), output (Power Barbarian Axe), and control (Binding), the three major traits.
It’s equivalent to a newbie player having activated 5 Star Vein Slots, a Level 5 Body Refining Level without increasing attributes, all fighting in Life Soul Form.
This idea moved Tu Bai to clap his hands:
"I agree; let’s pool our money, decompose the Life Souls, and re-inlay them. We’ll first raise the Life Soul Level through hunting, and consider changing to other streams in the future."
The other mbers of the team nodded in agreent.
Having made up their minds, they didn’t hesitate to pool their money and replace the Life Souls of the remaining three teammates.
The captain then switched to Life Soul Form.
His body quickly rose, growing to over two ters high.
The appearance underwent significant changes, with a rough body covered in heavy black stone-like skin, the stature becoming burly and robust, the muscle lines faintly visible beneath the stone skin, filled with a sense of power.
A pair of blood-red eyes were embedded in the ferocious face, like two burning flas, exceptionally striking, with sharp fangs protruding from the corners of the mouth.
The initially slender limbs also beca thick and strong after switching to Life Soul Form, with sharp claws extending from the fingertips, each resembling polished obsidian, shining with a cold luster.
"The Battle Axe is here." Tu Bai said, then his body twisted into a golden Battle Axe, flying towards the captain.
The captain raised his right hand and gripped the Power Barbarian Axe that Tu Bai had transford into with his right hand.
Ah Lan also twisted his form, transforming into a thick earth-yellow shield, rging with the captain’s left hand.
At this mont, the captain’s appearance changed.
The right hand held a Power Barbarian Axe engulfed in fiery flas, while the left hand flowed with the earth-yellow misty aura of the Rock Shield.
A mber of the team then transford into a palm-sized salamander, with the Binding Soul Form adhering to the captain’s chest.
The other two teammates, one transford into an Eagle-Headed Demon and stood on top of the captain’s head.
The other transford into a cloud-like floating flocculent, hovering beside the captain, ready to release the Light Shield for defensive support.
The combination form was officially completed.
"How does the captain feel?" Tu Bai asked in the voice channel.
"I feel incredibly powerful, owoo~" The captain let out a playful howl towards the sky, then had the Guiding Avatar zoom out the view and took a photo.
The photo showed the captain, with the left hand tightly gripping the earth-yellow shield, and the right hand holding high a Battle Axe ablaze with golden flas, the flas dancing on the axe as if pieces of the sun were embedded within, with the burning light illuminating his black stone-like skin, outlining his body’s contours in an even more nacing and terrifying manner.
"So cool!"
The golden fla battle axe suddenly swung forward, leaving a golden trail in the air.
The only issue with this combination is whether the Eagle-Headed Demon standing on the head can stay balanced in combat.
"Little Chicken, can you stay stable?"
"I don’t know, captain, try running and perform so intense actions."
The captain nodded at this and started jumping, running back and forth quickly, and trying to swing the axe while moving.
Through testing, it would not fall off in normal combat.
If it’s a higher intensity battle, they would consider having the Eagle-Headed Demon teammate get down beforehand, hiding in the back for providing combat details through perception.
After the preliminary tests, the team imdiately gained confidence.
The captain then called out:
"Little Chicken, open perception scanning around, I want to take on ten."
"Scanning the surrounding environnt, host please wait." The little fiery red chicken standing on the captain’s head nodded seriously with its head bare, and once it spoke, the Perception View quickly expanded in all directions.
Before they ventured deeper towards the ruins to challenge stronger chanical monsters.
They decided to find a nearby monster for practice, to see exactly how the combat power under the combination form was.
