In front of was Doctor Rebecca as I stepped my feet into the hospital.
Werewolves have high hearing ability, so I didn’t fail to hear the way everyone automatically halted when they saw .
The patients, doctors, and probably guardians of the patients, including nurses and other personnel. They were staring at and did not move from where they stood.
I understood the look on their faces without anyone needing to tell anything. Admiration. They admired .
Oh, my mistake.
Although I was now in control of and Clara’s body, the one they truly admired was Clara. Anastasia.
’Clara, have you not finished training yet?’. I asked her, but did not receive any reply from her, so I did not say anything else to her again.
Doctor Rebecca, Anders and I arrived in the elevator, and I saw Doctor Rebecca pressing the 6th floor button.
"Is he going to keep on following you, Alpha Elektra?". Doctor Rebecca looked at Anders as she asked .
"Yes. Is there any problem with that?". I asked her.
"Of course not, Alpha Elektra". She replied to and remained silent.
"The demon that Anastasia fought with is after Anders. He wants to possess Anders’ body and make Anders’ body his own". I suddenly said to Doctor Rebecca, since I knew that she had asked those questions out of curiosity.
"What?!". She exclaid.
Turning to Anders, who was standing by my side, there was horror in his eyes.
He was shaken by the news. Honestly, who wouldn’t be?
He only had an idea that the demon was after him, but I think he did not have any clue that it was for this very reason that the demon was after him.
"Don’t worry, Anders. Nothing is going to happen to you. Anastasia and I will take you in and protect you, until you are strong enough to protect yourself. We will protect you, that is, if you do not run away from us and beco who we want you to be". I assured him, because I knew he needed that.
Anders remained quiet and the shocked expression on his face did not change.
Well, I too chose to remain quiet, and returning my gaze to Doctor Rebecca, her attention, her eyes, were fixed on , as if she was trying to understand what I had said about the demon wanting to possess Anders, and make Anders’ body his own.
"Sorry to ask, Alpha Elektra, but could that demon take over any bodies he wants?". Doctor Rebecca asked .
I allowed Fireball and Irving to stand on their own. With my fingers on my chin, I thought for a mont, before casually replying to her, "I think so. That demon can take over the bodies he wants. But, I don’t think he would do that. From what I understand, he needed a perfect body that could withstand his dark powers. And I think that the perfect body is Anders’ body. So, taking over any other body other than Anders’ body would be a disadvantage to him, because the body would grow weak, and he would end up discarding the body. So no matter what, he will try all he can to take over Anders’ body and make Anders’ body his permanent body. Then, Anders will die for sure. That is why Anders must follow and must stay by my side, so that he will not get killed and die in vain".
Strangely, I could hear the sound of soone breathing fast. I could also hear the sound of soone’s heart pounding. ’Oh, gosh. I said too much for the second ti’. I almost hit my forehead as I thought and pitied Anders, who was trembling.
I thought to myself again, ’But why did that demon not try to possess and Clara’s body? Is our body not perfect? Or is it because Clara is the child of light? Why is black shadow going after Anders? It’s not as if Anders is extrely strong right now or has muscles’.
"I knew that demons were real, but I never had any idea that they had this kind of ability". Doctor Rebecca muttered, and that was when the elevator opened up.
We went out of the elevator.
Anders stood very close to and was looking around nonstop. He must believe that black shadow could appear suddenly and possess him.
"Do you doubt , Anders? You don’t believe that I will be able to protect you?". I halted and asked him.
Anders halted too. "I- I believe you, Alpha Elektra. It’s just that, I am scared". He admitted, and I smiled at him a little bit. Believing in was all I needed to hear from him.
We followed Doctor Rebecca, and soon, we arrived at the place I supposed was the isolation center.
Doctor Rebecca stopped walking and clenched her fists, and I was taken aback. That was until I saw what she was seeing.
I could not believe my eyes when I saw the reporters who were snooping around a particular isolation room. They were taking tons of pictures, because the isolation room’s walls were made using transparent glass.
This must be the room that Lucinda was currently in. I guessed.
"What the heck is the aning of this?!". I yelled at them, and they turned to , instantly stopping what they were doing.
My eyes darkened and I hissed.
"I’ll give you guys three seconds. If I still see any of you here after three seconds, you will be among the patients of this hospital". I threatened them.
And when I saw that they wanted to take pictures of , I added, "Don’t you dare think about it. Hospital is not a place for this. So scram! Before I lose my temper".
The reporters saw that I wasn’t kidding. Quickly, they hurried away, but I heard a clicking sound.
Soone must have stubbornly taken a picture of .
"Ha-ha-ha! That person should be very glad that I did not see his or her face. Because I would have made today a very morable day for him or her". I chuckled deeply as I said.
"Go ahead, doctor Rebecca. Open the door". I told her. I knew that the door was locked, because if it wasn’t locked, those reporters would have daringly entered the room and taken more pictures of Lucinda and made use of it as headline news.
Doctor Rebecca dipped her hand in her white coat’s pocket and brought out an access key card. She went ahead and opened the door to the isolation room, and allowed to enter first.
Upon entering the room and going ahead to stand next to the bed, I saw Lucinda.
The pale look on her face made question myself in my mind, ’What sort of demon did this to her? Could it really be black shadow? Or another demon that Clara and I have never seen before?’.
