Luciana’s pov
I was sitting in my spacious office, with my left leg above my other leg.
The chair I was sitting on faced the transparent glass wall, as I stared outside my office.
I suddenly stood up and walked towards the glass. A blurred reflection of the red dress I was wearing was reflected in the glass wall, and also the red heels I was wearing.
"My niece is currently in this city. Sigh. I really can’t wait to et you before you return to the shadows’ pack. It’s such a pity that I have been banished from my own pack. If not, I would have had the opportunity to apologize to my little sister before she died. I admit, after staying in the human cities for many years, and after reflecting on my past actions, I realized that I was wrong". I said as I looked at the countless cars and people who looked small, simply because I was on the 17th floor of my skyscraper building.
The door to my office opened up.
"Mom".
My son, Caden, called and I turned to stare at him. I saw that he was together with his younger brother, Chase, who was lost playing a video ga on his iPad.
I know I regretted what I had done to my twin sister, Allegra. But, thinking things through, if I had not done that, I wouldn’t have had my sons, Caden and Chase.
Caden and Chase are the only sons of Allegra’s husband, the previous Alpha of the shadows’ pack, Alpha Ashton.
I discovered that I was pregnant after I was banished from the shadows’ pack.
I gave birth to Caden and Chase in Diamond-heart City, and no one in the shadows’ pack except knows about their existence. Not even Lady Valerie was aware of them.
Sadly, Caden and Chase didn’t know who their father was. They also didn’t have any idea that I had a twin sister and that the shadows’ pack was their true ho.
These past years, they had been endlessly demanding to know who their father was and the pack they belonged to. But I couldn’t bear to tell them anything and kept on promising them that I would tell them everything only when the ti was right.
I was afraid that if I told them the truth, they would grow to hate .
Ti has passed, and I don’t think I can keep the truth from them any longer. They are already turning 20 years old this year.
"My babies". I said, and a smile appeared on my blank face.

If not because of them, I would have gone crazy because of the regret in my heart.
If not because of them, I had thought about ending my own life after I heard about Allegra’s death and Ashton’s death. I hated that I wasn’t given the opportunity to sincerely apologize to them in the end.

With my arms wide open, I walked towards Caden and Chase and was expecting them to co into my embrace.
Caden ca forward and embraced . As for Chase, that brat’s eyes were fixed on the screen of his iPad.
"Ahem. Don’t make seize that iPad from you, Chase. You know what I am capable of doing, right?". I cleared my throat and threatened him.
Hearing my words, Chase instantly stopped playing the video ga on his iPad and ca to give a hug.
He definitely knew what I was capable of doing.
I was his one and only strict and bossy mom.
I embraced my babies and even ruffled their hair. Although both Caden and Chase looked similar in appearance, and had a facial resemblance to , they had different hair colors and personalities.
Caden was calm, understanding and had the mindset of behaving fairly to everyone. He is just like his father, Alpha Ashton.
He also inherited his father’s red eyes and golden hair.
While Chase had my blue hair and blue eyes. And, he is usually playful and a carefree troublemaker. His personality was nothing like Caden, Alpha Ashton or . A second ago, I would have said that I had no idea where he inherited his personality from, but then, I recalled that Allegra used to be like him when she was young.
I ruined my sister’s happiness. I regret it. Ever since that day, Allegra has never remained the sa. I know my sister too well.
She might have smiled at when I left the shadows’ pack after I was banished, but I knew that that smile was just a mask to hide her pain.
Sothing changed about her that day and I saw it. Although she smiled at , her eyes said it all as she stared at .
She no longer looked at with love. Rather, she looked at as if I were a stranger to her.
I understood her completely. She was hurt because she was betrayed by her closest and only family left.
After hugging Caden and Chase, I let go of them, before Caden asked , "Mom, you have been calling us to co over recently. So, Chase and I finally decided to co see you today, since our school has given us a holiday break that would last for a week".
I breathed deeply, and Chase, who was distracted, focused on . I said, "It’s ti you two knew the truth".
The iPad that was in Chase’s hand fell on the ground, and he opened his mouth in disbelief. He was staring at with a serious look in his eyes. It was unlike him.
"Really? Are you seriously going to tell my brother and everything? Are you lying to us right now, mom?". Caden asked . He did not believe that I would finally tell him and his twin brother what they had always wanted to know about.
"I’m serious, Caden". I said to him, but seeing a drop of tear escape from his eyes, my heart skipped a beat and I felt horrible.
All this while, I had been a bad mom to them for hiding the truth from them.
My eyes were hot and teary, and I could already feel that tears wanted to escape from them. But I had to control myself.
"Co on, boys, let’s go to the mansion. My office isn’t the right place for us to discuss". I said to them, before I went ahead and took my cell phone from the desk and left the office together with them.
I had been expecting lady Valerie’s call since yesterday, but she had not called .
I wonder if she succeeded in telling my dear niece about the favor I needed from her.
Anastasia aka Clara’s pov,
I arrived at President Michael’s family vacation mansion. And of course, Anders, Fireball and Irving were with .
Yesterday, President Michael explained to the location of his family’s vacation mansion. I had to play along with him and pretended that I had absolutely no idea where his family’s vacation mansion was located.
The vacation mansion was located in Glisha city. One of the most remote cities in diamond-heart city.
The gates were opened for by the security guards who were in charge of safeguarding the vacation mansion.
President Michael must have already inford them that I was coming, because they didn’t question .
After entering the vacation mansion, , Anders, Fireball and Irving made our way to the building that was not that far away from us.
As we got closer to the building, I halted. The building was a large two-story mansion which was painted white and blue, and in front of the building, there were beautiful flowers and a big swimming pool.
’Seeing this gives a great idea I had never thought of, Clara. Are you thinking the sa thing I am thinking?’.
’I think so, Elektra. We will build our own vacation mansion after we first build a large house for the holess and fund the werewolves in need and, lastly, after we destroy all the wild beasts, hybrid creatures and that muscular black shadow guy’.
’That’s a really long list, Clara. I was expecting you to say that as soon as we returned to the shadows’ pack, we would buy our own vacation mansion imdiately. Anyway, I agree with you!’. Elektra replied to , and I didn’t mind - link her again.
"Stay close to , you guys. I don’t know why, but I can perceive a foul sll". I said to Fireball, Irving and Anders. "Anders, can you sense anything?". I asked him.
Anders sniffed his nose multiple tis in a row, before he stopped sniffing his nose and answered , "I couldn’t sense anything foul, Alpha Anastasia". He told , causing to beco alard.
"Let’s go inside the house". I said to them, before we made our way into the mansion.
’Make sure to be careful, Clara. We don’t know who the foul sll belongs to’. Elektra said to .
My hand reached out to the door and opened it. The second I stepped foot into the building, the stench of sothing rotten almost made suffocate.
’Who the heck is the cause of this sll?’. I thought to myself and was vigilant. Sadly, I wasn’t vigilant enough.

Anders scread, and as I instantly turned to him since he was standing behind , I could not see him.
