Anders’ pov,
We had been searching for Alpha Anastasia, but there were no signs of her. I haven’t grown tired of looking for her with Fireball and Irving, but it has gotten very late.
I wasn’t with a clock or a wristwatch for to be able to tell what the ti was, but I could feel it. This should be past 11pm.
"I- I can’t do this anymore". I said and halted, before I slightly bent forward with my hands resting on my knees for support. Since I had stopped walking, Fireball and Irving also stopped walking and turned to . My stomach had been growling for such a long ti, but now, it wasn’t growling in hunger anymore. Rather, it seed as if ants were biting my stomach.
"Quit whining, Anders boy. If you wish to continue to stick at my Mama’s side, you ought to be strong. Quit being a princess". Fireball growled at .
His words made take a courageous step forward. The sa step which caused to fall to my knees and wrap my arms tightly around my stomach because of the sharp pain I felt in my lower abdon.
"I can’t do this! Please take back to the hotel. I am starving!". I stretched my hand towards Fireball as I said this.
I saw Irving shaking her head in disbelief, but I couldn’t care less about it, not when I was the one in pain.
Thinking about it, I ought to be used to this pain.
Yes, I ought to be used to this kind of pain because I have been enduring this kind of pain for so long, as I was unfortunate to buy a decent al for myself.
Most tis, I only eat once a day. Those were the good days.
The bad days were the days when I couldn’t afford to eat anything for a whole day and had to endure it.
Close to my parent’s house, which is located in the hills, there was a very small piece of land that I could say belonged to my parents. Let’s say, when my father was still alive, he tried his best to sell off the land and get at least so money from it.
Sadly, nobody wanted anything to do with a land that was not very fertile.
To them, the land was insignificant, small, and wasn’t worth their ti.
But to , that was my entire life. That insignificant piece of land was the one that saved my life.
Although it wasn’t fertile compared to most lands, it was precious to . It grew beautiful flowers for . The sa flowers that I had been selling to the lover birds (werewolves in love) to make a living.
I didn’t make much money from selling the beautiful purple Findelorian flower that had a very beautiful scent. Though the little money I made from selling it was enough for . That was until I t her.
Alpha Anastasia.
She extended her hand towards and I rejected her offer. Not because I was prideful, but the real reason was because I was scared.
Also, I didn’t want what had happened to my parents to happen to . They accepted help from my father’s uncle and that ended their lives.
But.... I am glad that my father’s uncle wasn’t truly the one who had caused my parent’s death. I feel a burden has been lifted off of my chest.
I didn’t know my father’s uncle too well, but according to my father, he usually told about how his uncle always offered to help us.
That was when my father’s uncle hadn’t been possessed by that demon, I think.
But my father said he always rejected his uncle’s help because his uncle made his money through illegal ans, like selling hard drugs. The only reason why my father finally accepted his uncle’s help was because of , when I beca very sick.
Maybe it was after my father’s uncle helped my father, that was when that evil demon took over his body, thus killing him.
So, the point of all these talks returns back to this point. After Alpha Anastasia took in, I began to eat healthily. And now that I am starving, I have this fear. I don’t want to starve anymore.
"Gosh. What a burden. We should have searched for our mama ourselves and left him out of it, Fireball. He is only slowing us down. And you know that this is not getting funny for anymore. I am currently out of my mind until I see my mama and see that she is okay!". Irving said with a hiss to Fireball, who sighed in defeat.
Earlier, Irving had this bright look on her face. But now, it has been replaced by a frustrated expression, since we haven’t been able to locate alpha Anastasia.
Massaging his temples, Fireball said, "I had to take him with us, Irving. Our mom would be disappointed if that demon succeeds in taking his body. Also, I don’t want that stupid demon to take over his body. Since that demon believes that Anders’ body is a perfect body for him, I am afraid that if he ever succeeds in taking over Anders’ body, he will be a thorn in our mama’s flesh. Not that I would ever allow him to hurt our mom. I will destroy him before that ever happens!".
"But, let’s take him back to the hotel. After he eats, we will continue with our search. Tonight, we must definitely find our mom!". Fireball declared, and at that mont, Irving helped up, allowing to lean on her as we all returned to the hotel.

After a little while, we arrived at the hotel.
"I will be right back". Irving said and did what I had never expected.
She shapeshifted into alpha Anastasia!
"I have to hurry up and tell the room service server to serve us food in our hotel room". She said. It was so weird.
"Hurry up, Irving, before your appearance returns to normal". Fireball said to her, and I dared not ask what he ant by that because I didn’t want to know anymore of their secrets.
After all, they say curiosity kills the cat.

Tina Nwuba: "It’s true that both Irving and Fireball are shapeshifters. But understand this, they can shapeshift to have the form of humans or animals, but their appearances in those forms (human form or animal form) are theirs and not a copy of soone else’s appearance. Unlike now that Irving shifted into Anastasia’s appearance, the appearance would not last for long because she had copied Anastasia’s appearance. The dark-skinned beautiful lady is Irving’s own true appearance as a human and could last as long as she wanted, even forever".
