I had pinched my cheek, but it wasn’t a dream.
The Lycan King confessed his feelings for . And what was this feeling I felt inside ? As if my heart moved and wanted to be in his embrace.
My eyes darkened because I really felt that the Lycan King was trying to deceive with his sugar coated words.
I was unsettled and didn’t want to believe his words even though I knew that he might not actually be telling a lie. I unblocked my mind reading power and began to read his mind, ’Please don’t reject or hate . I am not as ruthless as they say. Especially not towards you. You brought hope of living on, into my life. After reading his mind, I blocked my mind reading power. My mouth opened in disbelief and my darkened eyes relaxed.

"Mama?". The Lycan King asked , but I didn’t reply to him and dashed towards Irving to help her. She was tightly holding onto the human-like demon.
I made my two long red and black swords appear in my hands. Unfortunately, before I could stab the human-like demon with them, he escaped from Irving, and, grinning at , he flew up and vanished into thin air.
His escape move was so fast that I could not follow up, thus letting him escape.
"No!!!". Irving scread in frustration and began to jump and stomp her foot on the ground angrily.
"It’s alright, Irving. You did your best". I said to her after I caused my swords to disappear.
Hearing my words, Irving stopped stomping on the ground and turned to . She pouted her lips when saying to , "But I let him escape, mama. I shouldn’t have let him escape. If not, you could have successfully stabbed him. I failed you".
"It’s okay, Irving. You tried your best". I said to her with my hands on her shoulders. I didn’t expect her to abruptly hug .
"Mama, you are so kind to . I shouldn’t have failed you!". Her chin was resting on my shoulder as she cried out.
’Tsk. Why is she overreacting? She should quit being a big baby’. Elektra said to , and I rolled my eyes at her, even though she wasn’t standing in front of to see that.
