I ran into the woods which led to the border. In front of were Gamma Caleb and Beta Damien.
Don’t be so surprised, people. I have not gotten very strong. Only a day’s training isn’t enough to make get strong. I hope I am making sense?
Because the shadows’ pack border was far from the shadows’ pack’s city, it took us a little while to run before we arrived at our destination.
Being a werewolf sure is convenient.
Upon reaching the camp, Beta Damien and Gamma Caleb shifted into their human forms. I didn’t shift into my human form though.
I would be in a lot of pain if I shifted into my human form. Firstly, my feet are injured. Secondly, my neck, my back, my waist and my legs are in pain.
If I return to the mansion, I must acquire so ingredients and create so pain-relief pills. I would definitely need that in order to survive beta Damien’s training.
But, isn’t it supposed to be the Gamma who trained the newly recruited werewolves? Why is Beta Damien doing the Gamma’s job?
I bet if it was the Gamma that was in charge of training the newly recruited werewolves, we would have many werewolves willing to beco warriors.
This has to change. We need many werewolves to beco warriors before ten years are over. And I will make sure of that!
The warriors gathered in one spot. They must have been awaiting the Beta’s arrival and the Gamma’s arrival.
I noticed they were surprised to see , but that didn’t stop them from greeting .
I guess they never imagined that I would co too. That has to change too. I am the Alpha of the shadows’ pack. So, whatever happens in the pack, I must not only be aware of it, but I must be there to witness it myself, unless I can not make it.
From the crowd of warriors, one warrior stepped forward and ca to et us (, Beta Damien and Gamma Caleb) as we were standing close to each other.
It was a lady. She was young looking.
I had never seen her when I visited the border before.
In my eyes, she even looked younger than the Gamma.
As she stood in front of us, she said to us, "Alpha, Beta Damien, Gamma Caleb. I am glad three of you made it to the border. I was the one who sent the ssage to the Gamma while using the nas of the warriors. Sorry about that, but I wanted you guys to make it to the border as soon as possible since the situation was urgent".
"Delta Madeline, tell us what happened. What was that ssage all about?". Beta Damien asked her.
Delta? She’s a Delta? I couldn’t tell who she was because this part of Anastasia’s mories didn’t co to . Yeah, and that Anastasia is still .
"I have been busy patrolling our territory for days, Beta Damien. I only left our pack’s city and arrived at the border yesterday, as I wanted to patrol outside the border in case another group of rogue werewolves dared to attack us again to steal so of our pack’s riches. During my patrol, I found sothing very disturbing". Delta Madeline said to us before she suddenly stopped talking and sighed.
She seed very distressed. What truly could be the issue? And the fact that it’s related to , I don’t find it funny at all.
Beads of sweat slid down her temples and neck as she added, "Words can not explain what I saw. Please, follow outside the border. There’s sothing you must see for yourself. The warriors had not seen it, as I was too scared to show them. At least, I wanted Beta Damien and Gamma Caleb to see it first. I did not have any slightest idea that our Alpha was going to co".
"Lead the way, Delta Madeline". My face darkened as I ordered her, and she nodded at . I have to see it since it was connected to . ’Please, I don’t want to witness sothing that would crush my spirit. I don’t think I can handle any more of that’. I thought to myself.
"Alpha Anastasia, you should stay behind. Allow Gamma Caleb and to check it out first. We have to make sure that the place is safe before you can go to check it out". Beta Damien explained to .
"No. I am coming with you guys. Nothing is going to change my mind". I announced.
I know I treasure my life dearly, but that doesn’t an I should be a coward. I am now a werewolf, and an Alpha at that, and also the chosen child of the moon goddess. That is, the chosen children of light and destruction. That alone ans that my life will always be at risk. If not now, in the future.
So, I have to get rid of every fear in my heart. I should once again beco the fearless doctor I was when I saved my city from those wild predators!
"So stubborn". I heard Beta Damien shake his head and muttered.
Gamma Caleb, Beta Damien and Delta Madeline shifted into their wolf forms.
I was already in my wolf form.
Delta Madeline took the lead, while we followed her. A few minutes and so seconds later, we left the border and were on the unclaid land.
Delta Madeline started running, and we ran after her.
I don’t believe this. Delta Madeline ca all this way when patrolling?
She must really care about the pack. But too bad, her efforts alone are not enough. Even if she was able to sense any dangers when she was patrolling, we still needed more warriors to protect the pack.
It took a few minutes of running, and we arrived outside a cave.
This cave didn’t look like any ordinary cave. I felt chills down my spine just by staring at it.
Although it was late afternoon, the cave looked a little bit dark inside and was eerily cold. It gave off a bad vibe.
"I have left the border countless tis, but I have never seen this cave before". Beta Damien’s words made instinctively alard.
"Sa here, beta Damien. I had never seen this cave before. When I first saw it while I was patrolling, it got curious, and I entered it, only for to see what I had never expected to see in my entire life". Delta Madeline added, making more alard.
Fortunately, I ca along with the deadly drugs. I don’t mind using it if things go wrong. But, things shouldn’t go wrong. After all, nothing bad happened to Delta Madeline when she entered the cave.

Delta Madeline and Gamma Caleb were the first people who entered the cave before Beta Damien. I took a deep breath, before I entered the cave too.
A minute after entering the cave, we halted, and my eyes widened in horror.
I looked at Gamma Caleb and Beta Damien. Even though they were not showing it, I noticed the disturbed look in their eyes.
I returned my gaze to the rocky walls and the large numbers of dead creatures that I was certain humanity and werewolves had never seen before.
The creatures are hybrids. They have many legs. Their faces were the faces of wild bats, and their bodies looked muscular. Additionally, half of their bodies were made up of snake scales. Or scales resembling the scales of snakes.
These creatures look like creatures one could find only in comic books and movies!
The creatures were dead, but the strange part was, why were their eyes open? And why are they bleeding in their eyes?
I stopped looking at them and fixed my eyes on the words written on the rocky walls. The words were undoubtedly written using blood.
"Beware of the chosen child of the moon goddess".
