I wanted to yell at him, but why did I feel like he was telling the truth?
I feel very comfortable and drawn to him. But how is this possible? I halted when I noticed that my retreating action had started to get the attention of the passersby and the shop and stall owners.

I was relieved to see Beta Damien.
But when I turned to the Lycan king, he was nowhere to be found.

"The Lycan king has gotten away". I told him despite him not asking any questions. Since he hadn’t t the Lycan king, I thought he would think I lied to him once again.
"I believe you, Alpha. I sensed a very strong aura. It must belong to the Lycan king. He didn’t leave any of his scent behind, so it would be hard for to track him. But don’t worry. I will find him!". Beta Damien said to before he instantly left.
’I don’t think beta Damien would be able to track the Lycan king’.
"I know, Elektra. The Lycan king is out of our league". I replied to her and sighed.
Later, I went to the fish stall and bought so fish for fireball and Irving. I found a quiet place and decided to stay there.
It was outside the shadows’ pack restricted forest, where there were large rocks and a big waterfall.
In this forest, there is nothing like wild predators or hybrid creatures in it. The only creatures inside this restricted forest are the natural wild animals that existed before those abominations ca into the world.
Our shadows’ pack is lucky, because of all the forests we have inside our pack’s territory, there was nothing like wild beasts or those hybrid creatures there.
Assuming they were inside our pack’s forests, we would have suffered a big blow. I am thankful that those abominations are outside the shadows’ pack territory.
I sat on one of the rocks after I gave fireball and Irving the fish I had bought for them.
Seeing that fireball and Irving were busy playing and eating their fish, I began to think to myself.
What the Lycan king said to was playing in my head. This was not the first ti he said I was his mate. What is going on?
My palms rubbed my face as I lowered my head.
"Elektra, I have so unanswered questions. I wish the moon goddess would appear to us again so that I can ask her about it". I stopped rubbing my face and lifted my head to the sky as I said this to Elektra.
’Why would she want to appear to you, Clara? Rember, you are mad at her’.
"Of course, I am mad at the moon goddess, Elektra. But, unfortunately, I can’t deny the fact that she is my biological mother. I can’t stay angry at her forever. In fact, I need her now".
The instant I finished saying these words, a bright light shone and the moon goddess appeared in front of the rock I was sitting on. There was a bright smile on her face.
This ti, she wasn’t holding any staff in her hand, nor was she wearing any crown on her head.
She was wearing a royal blue gown that matched the colour of her eyes and hair.
"I am glad you don’t hate , my child!". She said to and instantly bent down and gave a hug.
I tried to embrace her too, but I just could not do that. In the end, I did not hug her back. Though I allowed her to hug as much as she liked, because I did not find it uncomfortable.
When I looked at the ground, I saw countless diamonds.
