Xiao Ye entered the hospital room, just standing at the door, without moving too close.
When Wen Qiao’s gaze t his, her expression changed slightly.

Ji Shaoyang stood up, frowning, “Xiao Ye?”
Seeing him, Wen Qiao pursed her lips tightly.

Seeing this person made her recently relaxed heart feel as if it had been struck with a heavy hamr.

Brother was using his words to threaten her, implying he wouldn’t spare Ji Shaoyang.
Wen Qiao dared not say anything at all, moving from that brief mont of relaxation back into that inescapable fear she thought she had left behind.
Even with her eyes closed, she worried that once she opened them, she would return to hell.
“Qiaoqiao, Qiaoqiao, what’s wrong?”
After sleeping for a few days, Wen Qiao’s spirit remained sowhat dazed.
Lu Wanwan sat by her hospital bed, offering her a bowl of porridge. “Have sothing to eat. Brother Shaoyang will co by after a nap. He’s been through a lot these days.”
If soone could stay awake 24 hours, she thought Ji Shaoyang would do it without batting an eye.
“Qiaoqiao, that day… what happened?” Lu Wanwan asked hesitantly.
