“Qiaoqiao, I’ve been really busy lately, it’s been so hard to find the ti.” Lu Wanwan had been most occupied with getting familiar with Jin’an’s business these past days; she finally managed to get a free day to co to Ji Shaoyang’s villa to look for Wen Qiao, “Brother Shaoyang can’t be with you every day; you must feel pretty bored, right.”
She brought so ingredients over because Wen Qiao had ntioned last ti wanting to learn to cook Chinese cuisine.
Lu Wanwan, being skilled at this, planned to teach her hands-on.
While washing the vegetables, Wen Qiao said, “It’s alright, I’m not really into a busy atmosphere. He bought a cat, but the cat doesn’t really care about . But it’s fine like this.”
The two chatted for a while longer, and Lu Wanwan felt that she always seed to be weighed down by worries.
“Young Madam, Mr. Gu has co to pick you up.” Outside the door, soone knocked.
Lu Wanwan hadn’t even finished cooking and said unhappily, “I’m still cooking, why so early?”
The person outside was Zhao Chen, who smiled sowhat helplessly, “It’s like this, Young Madam, Mr. Gu didn’t have much to do today, so he left the company early. Now Mr. Gu plans to have a al, so he ca over to pick you up before dinner.”
“Let him co in for a al then, Qiaoqiao and I have already finished cooking.”

Moreover, he didn’t want Wen Qiao to feel triggered by any reminders of the past; he even wouldn’t allow Gu Annan’s people to co to ask questions again.
She thought Ji Shaoyang must be deeply troubled as well, not wanting her hard but having to face this uncertainty every day.
“Let him in.” Wen Qiao, after saying sothing over the phone, opened the villa door and spoke to the guards outside.
The guards must have received orders at the sa ti.
The man who entered had a dark expression, his unhappy deanor making Lu Wanwan chuckle.
“Who told you to be so stubborn, taking advantage of his loved one behind his back.” Lu Wanwan took advantage of Wen Qiao heading to the kitchen to whisper.
Gu Annan glanced at her, “Aren’t you cooking personally? Go on!”
“I’m the master now, I don’t need to cook personally. Just now I told Qiaoqiao all the important points; she’s making a al by herself for Ji Shaoyang.”
“He’s not coming back to eat.” Gu Annan said indifferently, “He’s very busy today.”
Suddenly, they heard a shout from the kitchen, and Lu Wanwan quickly ran in.
Wen Qiao said helplessly, “The fish, it’s burnt. Wanwan, I really can’t do this.”
Lu Wanwan shook her head, rolling up her sleeves, “Forget it, let the master chef handle it. Anyway, Brother Shaoyang isn’t coming back today, try cooking for him so other day to reward him.”
Wen Qiao sighed in relief, “Thankfully. Wanwan, I really can’t handle fish. You go ahead, I’ll wash my hands.”
As Wen Qiao walked out of the kitchen, she saw the man on the living room sofa.
She didn’t go to the bathroom but walked straight over, “Gu Shao… I, I have a favor to ask you.”
