"Neither of them are around?"
Ji Shaoyang said in bewildernt, "And I can’t get in touch with Bai Lingyun at all; his phone is disconnected. I contacted Mu Bei, he only told that Mu Xing is recovering well and wouldn’t say where they are, only ntioning that she’s been taken to a safe place. I never thought Mu Xing and Bai Lingyun were close enough to elope, right? Besides, I truly can’t think of any place safer than Manchester at the mont."
Lu Wanwan held the phone in silence.
Gu Annan isn’t worried about Song Ning; it must be because they’ve reached so kind of understanding.
In the Song Clinic, anyone who knows sothing, as long as Song Ning says a word, won’t tell the truth.
If there’s really nothing going on, then why move Bai Lingyun and Mu Xing away?
"Wanwan, what on earth happened? Why are you suddenly asking about this, and also about Gu Annan’s condition before you returned?" Ji Shaoyang pressed, "Is there sothing about his body that was affected by explosives?"
It was only when she asked that Ji Shaoyang rembered.
When they heard Gu Annan had woken up, they all planned to visit him, only to be told he was in observation and so visits were prohibited.
Until the night before Lu Wanwan returned, he suddenly ca back completely unhard.
Before that, the only ones who had seen Gu Annan aside from the clinic’s doctors and nurses were Bai Lingyun, Mu Xing, and Mu Bei.
Mu Bei is in Arica investigating Xiao Ye, Mu Xing and Bai Lingyun had directly gone missing.
"It’s nothing, I’m just asking."
Lu Wanwan’s heart grew increasingly unsettled, the last bit of hope gradually fading away.
"It seems you all have sothing you’re hiding from us." Ji Shaoyang was quiet for a mont before saying, "I don’t know what’s happened to him, but sothing must have happened. As for you..."
"What about ?"
Ji Shaoyang said, "I know you’re pregnant."
Lu Wanwan was silent for a mont too, "I heard Xu Yuan ntion it, it was you who asked Shao Zhixing."
"Wanwan..."
"Brother Shaoyang, thank you all for your concern. But I’ll make my own decision on this matter. He knows everything too."
"As long as you know what you’re doing, just don’t make any decisions you’ll regret."
At this mont, Lu Wanwan had no energy left to consider whether she would regret terminating this pregnancy and potentially risking her future chances of conceiving.
In the end, she found she had only one path left.

At noon, in a café near the school.
Little Momo was quickly typing away on the computer, sneaking a glance at Lu Wanwan.
"How is it, have you contacted Paul?"
Little Momo didn’t really need to contact Brother Paul for this; he simply accessed the server from the clinic Mom ntioned.
"It’s done, what does Mom want to know? Brother Paul will display it on my computer."
Little Momo was so straightforward, also out of curiosity as to what Mom wanted to know.
If Mom knows, then he knows too.
Lu Wanwan knew accessing hospital files was useless; they were amateurs, and files stored within the hospital might not even be understandable.
So what she asked Little Momo to find was the monitoring equipnt from when Gu Annan was still at the Song Clinic.
"Can you see everything from three days before Mom returned?"
Little Momo nodded.
Lu Wanwan took the laptop, which was displaying all the surveillance footage from the Song Clinic corridors of those days.
"Mom, what exactly are you looking at?" Little Momo looked at her seriously, instinctively feeling that Mom must be investigating sothing important to have him run out from school at noon to check.
