"Cough cough cough..." A fiery sensation trailed down her throat.
Mu Xing initially thought it was just champagne, but it turned out to be hard liquor.
She choked for a while, blush spreading across her face.
For a mont, she felt a numbness from her mouth to her tongue.
Bai Lingyun watched her languidly, "What’s the rush? Drink slowly. And, what are you still planning to do?"
If she couldn’t drink, she wouldn’t need to keep up the pretense. So this indicated she still planned to continue as an undercover agent at Yaoye?
He furrowed his brow for a mont, then quickly relaxed.
He stepped forward, reaching for the glass, "Alright, we were supposed to drink slowly for a couple of hours, but you finished it in one gulp. Now, sleep."
He said ’sleep’, yet he didn’t get up himself.
His dark eyes wandered like floating clouds, but that gaze, Mu Xing felt she couldn’t evade.
"The liquor is strong." Mu Xing rubbed her mouth, it was truly numbing.
Bai Lingyun looked at her rosy lips, raised an eyebrow with a smile, and leaned closer.
"You..."
He took out a napkin and gently wiped the alcohol that spilled from her mouth to chin.
"This drink is quite strong, and its effect more potent afterward," he said while wiping, "You claim you can handle liquor, yet drinking so much in one go, who knows if you can withstand it."
"I’m fine." Mu Xing’s head felt dizzy already, why did she impulsively drink it all in one go?
Perhaps she thought, having a drink with him late at night while watching the stars felt strange and wanted to finish quickly, then go to bed.
"How do you feel?"
"Huh?" Her eyes were hazy, seeing that handso face clear in front of her, as if straight out of a romantic movie.

She staggered to stand up, Bai Lingyun remained still.
His helpless gaze following her movents as she took a few steps forward, then retreated two steps.
In the end, her legs buckled, and she fell back onto the sofa, slumping into his outstretched embrace.
A faint scent of alcohol emanated from her, Bai Lingyun lowered his head, and the delicate face wrinkled in discomfort.

Mu Xing was so dizzy, she didn’t respond, just wanted to get up again.
She should go to bed, her missions were confidential, she couldn’t disclose them.
Not even to him, definitely couldn’t speak recklessly just because she was drunk!
Bai Lingyun watched, seemingly probing, leaning towards her.
Looking at her tempting lips, gently placed his own on them.
"Mouth and tongue feel numb? Let see..."
He spoke touching her lips, gently prying her mouth open, the sweet blend of alcohol instantly drew them in.
What was initially a probing kiss suddenly beca fierce and urgent.
Mu Xing’s nape was held by his large palm, he pulled her towards him, deepening the kiss continuously.
"Mm-"
A srizing moan unconsciously escaped Mu Xing’s throat.
Not knowing what happened, she squinted to see the man seriously kissing her, with the starry night as their backdrop.
