The office space was large with a simple but elegant decor.
As she entered, the sound of typing at the desk stopped simultaneously.
Gu Annan looked up, his thin lips twitching slightly, “What ti is it?”
“It’s twelve-fifty,” Lu Wanwan replied straightforwardly.
His eyebrows furrowed slightly, noticing she didn’t seem to realize she was late at all.
“What’s wrong?” Lu Wanwan walked over to the desk, puzzled by his chilling gaze, “About that eting, the secretary ntioned it’s not for another twenty minutes, don’t worry.”
Gu Annan’s expression darkened, “From now on, you must arrive before twelve-thirty.”
“No way!” she protested imdiately, “I only start my lunch break at noon, and even if your driver picks up, the drive takes over twenty minutes.”
The man in the black office chair, leaning lazily back, arms crossed, retorted coldly, “That’s why I say twelve-thirty, just in ti.”

She obediently walked over, pulling her hair up with a hairpin while asking, “Really haven’t eaten yet?”
Gu Annan, his face dark, reached out and firmly held her head, his touch far from gentle, “Shut up!”
“I’m concerned about you… Ouch! Be gentle!” she exclaid as her jaw nearly got scruffed off.
