"New departnt? Where should I report?"
He paused, his voice clear, "Report to here."
Gu Ziyou snorted lightly, "How do you know I still want to be your assistant? I think this job is too beneath ."
"Then what do you want to do?"
"Anything?" Gu Ziyou raised her eyebrows, deliberately saying, "Then I’ll really say it."
He looked at the windshield. Although he hadn’t really apologized or explained, it was obvious from her tone that she wasn’t angry anymore.
Otherwise, he really wouldn’t know what to do.
As long as she could forgive him, he was willing to do anything.
The only fear was that she wouldn’t give him any chance for understanding.
"Anything," he replied, the corners of his lips curving into a slight arc.
Gu Ziyou finally looked a bit satisfied, "Okay, then I want to be the Pres--i--dent--"

Shen Lingfeng answered quickly, not noticing that Gu Ziyou’s last two syllables were drawn out and incomplete.
As he hadn’t finished his sentence, he heard her last two words, "Pres--i--dent’s--"
His voice ca to an abrupt stop, even forgetting what he was just talking about.
Gu Ziyou wore a teasing expression, catching a glimpse of his bewildered face in the mirror.
"Ah! Stop, stop!"
The car wasn’t heading to the restaurant; it was heading ho.
When Gu Ziyou said ’president’s wife’, she didn’t pay attention to the road at all.
Only now did she realize they were entering the residential area, and at Shen Lingfeng’s mont of confusion, the car drove straight in. The barrier arm at the entrance and exit lane hadn’t even had ti to raise before they crashed into it.
With a sudden brake, he turned his head, "Are you okay?"
Gu Ziyou, scared to death, clutched her chest, "I wore my seatbelt, of course I’m okay. But your car crashed!"
"The car’s fine." Shen Lingfeng looked a bit embarrassed, even sowhat lost.
The unforeseen words earlier had struck straight into his heart without warning.
"Sir..."
"For compensation, contact my assistant." Shen Lingfeng handed over a business card, "Sorry."
After a few explanations to the security guard, the car slowly drove in.
Suddenly, Gu Ziyou rembered, "I’m also your assistant, right?"
Shen Lingfeng continued driving, "Aren’t you the president’s wife?"
She chuckled inside, and couldn’t help but purse her lips to hide her smile, then turned her head to look out the window.
"I just said, you can be whatever you want. Since you’ve answered, there’s no room to back out." He said every word seriously.
He carefully parked the car, afraid of any further jolts.
Shen Lingfeng didn’t get out imdiately, looking at the girl in the passenger seat who was deliberately pouting, "Not angry anymore?"
"I’ll consider it, still a bit angry. This issue, we’ll settle slowly."
Gu Ziyou slowly unbuckled her seatbelt, not daring to look at him.
With such a burning gaze, would he kiss her imdiately?
So eager, should she pretend to be reserved?
Then she heard the sound of Shen Lingfeng opening the car door.
Her movents were stalled for two seconds, so disappointed!
Why didn’t it match the scenario playing in her head? Maybe he didn’t like her at all and was pressured by her brother.
Gu Ziyou hung her head low in disappointnt, following him into the apartnt, into the elevator.
There weren’t many residents in this building, and at this ti, the elevator was empty.
Her heart pounded, nervously watching the numbers change inside the elevator.
Would he kiss her here?
Gu Ziyou realized, unknowingly, her mind that was originally tangled with the thought of settling scores had now completely turned into why hasn’t he kissed her!?
