She saw with her own eyes that Gu Ziyou added sugar to the coffee, but wasn’t sure if it was for President Shen.
"Yeah!" Gu Ziyou didn’t understand what was wrong at the mont.
The secretary looked at her bewildered face and chuckled, "Miss Gu, it’s your first ti making coffee for President Shen, right? Actually, his habit is not to add sugar."
"No way..." She looked at the coffee in the cup.
It wasn’t the first ti she made coffee for Shen Lingfeng.
When she was his personal assistant, Shen Lingfeng would work in the study, and she would help bring him coffee.
But he never said not to add sugar.
Of course, she never asked either.
Gu Ziyou, after all, had never had experience serving tea or coffee to others. At that ti, she just heard that she needed to make coffee, so she quite naturally made it according to her own preference.
Shen Lingfeng never ntioned any problems, so she never thought much about it.
"We all know President Shen’s habits," the secretary said, "Do you want to make another cup?"
Gu Ziyou thought for a mont, picked it up, blew on it, took a sip, then looked up quickly, "No problem, I only added a little sugar, it’s not sweet at all."
Secretary: "..."
"I think he won’t notice the difference, so it’s fine." She smiled, "Thanks, if I don’t know anything next ti, I’ll co ask you."
The secretary didn’t know what to say, had she just used President Shen’s cup like that?
Moreover, was it really okay to be so casual with President Shen?
Gu Ziyou took the sugared coffee inside, "President Shen, your coffee."
She carefully placed the coffee to the side, noticing his computer screen full of data and drawings.
Shen Lingfeng casually took a sip, paused, then put it back.
Gu Ziyou observed his expression carefully, as if there was nothing unusual.
It seems he really can’t taste whether there’s sugar or not.
Or maybe his taste buds are having issues?
Actually, whether there’s sugar in the coffee or not, there’s a difference, but not to the point where it can’t be tasted.
"Shen Lingfeng... uh, President Shen." Gu Ziyou quickly changed her tone, "Didn’t you notice anything wrong with the coffee?"
Shen Lingfeng’s gaze remained on the computer screen, his thin lips moved slightly, "What do you an?"
"I... added so sugar."
"Haven’t you added it every ti?" He stopped his typing, turned, and looked up.
"You knew?" She widened her eyes, pointing outside, "But your secretary just said you usually don’t add sugar."
"I usually don’t, but you insist on adding it for ." He said calmly, as if it wasn’t a big deal. Before Gu Ziyou could speak, he added, "Co here."
"I didn’t do it on purpose." Gu Ziyou was a bit frustrated, she never thought to ask him, "Why didn’t you tell ? I know I didn’t ask you, but you could have corrected !"
She walked a few steps closer, deciding to follow his habits and preferences from now on.
Perhaps she should take a little notebook to the secretary to jot it down.
Her waist tightened, and she felt herself lose her balance slightly, she steadily landed on his lap.
Her back pressed tightly against the man’s chest, a pair of large hands easily encircled her.
"This is the office..." She was afraid soone might co in.
Just as her body moved slightly, she was held even tighter.
"Don’t move."
Gu Ziyou turned her head back, eting his gaze, "Aren’t you afraid?"
"Afraid of what." He lowered his head to steady her and reached out to hold the back of her head, deepening the kiss.
