At the evening banquet, and the little gathering later, Gu Ziyou drank a bit.
Not drunk, just a little tipsy, her steps wobbly in high heels.

"Ran away?" Xue ngng felt like Gu Ziyou could pull off anything receiving her call.
"I’m not fleeing from marriage, I’m just sneaking off early; don’t make it sound like I’m heartless."
"But you’re sneaking away, what if Shen Lingfeng calls you?"
"He just called , I told him I’m sleeping at ho." Gu Ziyou, carrying her luggage, grinned with delight, "So he absolutely won’t know I’ve already returned to Manchester."

When the call ca, Xue ngng thought she was just planning this.
