That was just perfect! She was on the verge of losing her cool.
Then she heard the sound of the room being locked from the outside—she was actually locked in this room!
Lu Wanwan sent a text ssage to Xu Yuan, but obviously, Xu Yuan was also out of options.
Even if she could get the door opened, it would not be possible to walk out with a full-grown person in tow.

Lu Wanwan was puzzled. She had nearly turned the room inside out earlier and hadn’t seen anything that might have belonged to Bai Lingyun.
Just as she was mulling over this, a cough, almost like a reminder, suddenly sounded.
In an instant, her mind went blank.
Turning her head, she saw Bai Lingyun standing at the entrance gap next to the sofa, his beautiful phoenix eyes narrowed in amusent, scrutinizing her intently.
Then the tall and lean figure slowly squatted down.
His lips curved like petals, the arch of his smile even more enchanting and seductive, his eyes dark, shining, and smiling, “Is the air good here?”
