His handso, chiseled features were more defined in the shadow of the light.
His thin lips were pursed, and his cool, bright eyes sparkled like stars, accompanying a beautiful girl with outstanding deanor as they walked up the stairs.
The two of them were like stars surrounded by the moon, becoming the center of attention, whether or not the onlookers knew them.
All of a sudden, Linda rembered what Lu Wanwan had just said, that he was engaged.
There was a mont when she felt as if Lu Wanwan’s tone implied the fiancée was herself.
But soon, she discarded this absurd guess.

Now that she had seen Gu Annan in person, she believed it.
It must be her, that was Mr. Gu’s fiancée. She thought, how could it possibly be Lu Wanwan?
Turning to look in the direction of several colleagues, she could not spot Lu Wanwan.

“Where is she?” the girl beside Gu Annan curiously looked around, searching for soone. Not finding anyone approaching, she whispered, “Brother, didn’t you say she was here? You’ve already arrived, shouldn’t she imdiately co to find you? If she left early, wouldn’t my coming here be in vain?”
“It was you who insisted on coming,” Gu Annan responded indifferently, “I didn’t promise you anything.”
He scanned the room and indeed did not see Lu Wanwan anywhere.
