Chapter 440: Chapter 440 What to Do When You Can’t Sleep (6)
Gu Annan was still not out from the bathroom, and the sound of running water had just been continuous.
She maliciously smiled.
This was his karma, after all. A person like Gu Annan, who was a bit of a clean freak, couldn’t possibly tolerate bathwater mixed with nasal blood.
However, it wasn’t easy for him to endure his discomfort. Earlier, he had deliberately made her embarrassed for quite so ti in a seemingly nonchalant manner.
Lu Wanwan, seeing that her nosebleed hadn’t stopped, thought that she still needed to take so dicine.
What if it happened again?
Since these days she could only stay at ho, it was fine when he was not there; only she would see it.
When he was around, she feared he would say that she couldn’t control herself just by looking at him.
Lu Wanwan imdiately dabbed her neck with cold water and ran to the living room to look for the dicine box.
She turned the house upside down, only to find nothing related to dicine.
When she returned to the bedroom disappointed, the man who had finished bathing finally ca out.
At his glance, she felt slightly uneasy and blinked. “I couldn’t find the dicine box.”
“Because there isn’t one.” He looked at the wad of paper she had stuffed, “There’s very little here. I seldom co here, and I didn’t prepare things like a dicine box. Do you want to go out and buy now?”
Just as Lu Wanwan was about to speak, she heard him continue, “Going out and changing clothes is also quite troubleso, and there’s no pharmacy nearby; you might have to walk a long while.”
“Then forget it.” From his tone, she understood he wouldn’t drive her to find a pharmacy.
“It’s just to reduce internal heat.” Gu Annan said nonchalantly, “It doesn’t necessarily have to rely on dicine…”
Her eyebrows furrowed. “You’ve said it twice now, no need to keep ntioning it.”
“Eating so food that reduces internal heat could also work.” He continued calmly, looking at her once again disheveled expression, “What’s wrong?”
Lu Wanwan took a deep breath, “Nothing, there’s just not much food that can reduce internal heat in your house.”
Before Gu Annan could respond, she quickly said, “I think we’ll just leave it as is. It’s just a nosebleed, what’s the big deal? It’ll be okay in a while. I’ll go dab so more cold water.”
As she walked out, a slow voice from behind her spoke, “Should I put on a few more clothes?”
She nearly stumbled. Was this issue ever going to be let go?
When Lu Wanwan returned to the bedroom, Gu Annan was leaning against the window, looking at sothing on his phone with a sowhat stern expression.
He was only wearing a deep gray bathrobe, provocatively half open at the chest.
Sunlight seeped through the gaps in the curtains and fell on him, enveloping him in a halo, ridiculously handso.
She frowned. What happened to wearing more clothes?
Gu Annan looked up, turned off his phone, and placed it aside, “Okay now?”
The wad of tissue she had stuffed was now removed, and she looked no different than usual.
“It’s fine, how long can a nosebleed last? It’ll stop soon.” She shifted her gaze, wanting to find her phone to let Xu Yuan know not to worry.
“Gu Annan, where’s my phone?” She couldn’t find it, even though she clearly rembered placing it on the table.
“It ran out of battery and turned off.”
No way, she rembered it still had about 30% battery life. How could it have drained so fast?
“Then let charge it.”
He paused, “What do you need the phone for right now?”
“I need to ssage Xu Yuan, she’ll definitely be worried if she sees the ssage.”
“I already told her.” Gu Annan unilaterally approached, “Go lie down on the bed.”
“…”
“You didn’t sleep much yesterday, aren’t you tired?” he raised his eyelid, looking at her lazily, “Worried about a nosebleed if you take a nap?”
