“Where’s the car?” she asked eagerly, looking at Gu Annan.
He looked at her for a mont, “It’s parked at Gu Mansion. If you like it, I can have soone drive it back tomorrow.”
Lu Wanwan felt a bit desperate inside, but she could only nod, “Then never mind.”
“Do you want to learn how to drive?” Gu Annan asked her as he opened the car door for her.
“? Haha.” She got into the passenger seat, covered in cold sweat, and then thought about Bai Lingyun driving that afternoon, “I never want to learn to drive in this lifeti.”
Throughout the journey, Lu Wanwan kept the window wide open, letting the cold wind blow against her face.

Gu Annan’s movent halted, and he left the window partly open for her, “Since when do you get carsick?”
“Can’t I be carsick now?”
She was indeed feeling a bit carsick, but it was usually manageable, and this ti was completely unexpected.
Upon arriving at the restaurant Wen Qiao ntioned, as soon as the car stopped, Lu Wanwan couldn’t wait to get out.
Her legs were a bit wobbly, of course, there was another reason for that wobbliness…
Feeling a bit queasy, she stood next to a trash can, fearing she might vomit.
She stood there for a mont until Gu Annan parked the car and ca over. She felt better; it wasn’t that bad.
“What’s the matter?” he frowned, “Are you feeling unwell?”
“A bit, maybe because I didn’t eat much at noon. Being hungry and riding in a car makes it easy to be carsick,” she explained.
“It’s not good to stand here, next to the trash can. Let’s go, eat more later.”
“It’s not just for fear of vomiting,” she said gloomily.

Gu Annan turned his head to look at the woman looking unwell—could his timing really be this unfortunate?
Once inside the restaurant, they were led by the waitress to the reserved private room.
Ji Shaoyang, who said she wouldn’t be able to co, was already sitting there comfortably.

Wen Qiao smiled gently, “Let Wanwan order.”
Lu Wanwan waved her hand, “Actually, I don’t have much of an appetite today, anything will do.”
“Order sothing light,” Gu Annan interjected.
Ji Shaoyang joked, “Turning vegetarian?”
“She gets carsick,” he replied while reaching for his phone.
Seeing him check his phone, Lu Wanwan was certain it was work-related, as Gu Annan was not one to play with his phone.
With him being so busy, she really didn’t understand why he bothered to join the gathering.
“Pregnancy vomiting,” Gu Annan didn’t open any work emails but instead initiated a search.
The search results were clear, early pregnancy symptoms: dizziness, fatigue, excessive sleepiness, loss of appetite, pickiness with food, aversion to greasy foods, nausea, vomiting, etc.
