After giving the orders, Zhao Chen left the office.
He restarted the video call; Arthur’s tired face appeared on the screen.
“Help check sothing,” Gu Annan got straight to the point, “what past grievances exist between Bai Youchen and Cesar, and the situation after Bai Youchen disappeared.”
Arthur rubbed his temples, confused, “Who?”
“I’ll send the information over quickly, let know once you find out.”

The call was cut off before he could finish.
Gu Annan ca out of the inner room, tidied up the unfinished work, and left directly.
When he returned to the apartnt, Lu Wanwan was in the kitchen making food, and she had deliberately placed that scarf in a very conspicuous place.
He walked straight into the kitchen and glanced at the ti, “Three in the afternoon, are you making lunch or dinner?”
“You scared !” Lu Wanwan took a step back upon hearing his voice.
She was focused on the noodles in the pot and hadn’t heard him enter.
“I ate too little at noon, a bit hungry,” she mumbled.
“What did you eat for lunch?”
“Just sothing outside.” She served the noodles, her stomach almost caving in with hunger.
The bowl was hot to hold; she was about to put it down to find sothing to insulate her hand when his large hand reached over and took it away.
“Are you hungry? I only made this… but it’s a bit much since I ate at noon,” she said, then hesitated, hoping he wasn’t hungry.
Gu Annan deliberately sat beside her, “Okay, then I don’t mind.”
“…” What’s there for you to mind or not mind.
“You ate at noon, don’t eat too much this afternoon, or you won’t have room for dinner,” he said slowly, then took the first bite himself.
Lu Wanwan was in tears, her stomach almost growling.
She pursed her lips, watching him, “It tastes bad, right?”
“Not bad, quite delicious.”
She was going crazy, can’t you follow the script, aren’t you incredibly picky?
Seeing her impatient look, Gu Annan finally passed the bowl back to her.
Lu Wanwan struggled and said, “If you’re hungry, I can leave so for you.”
“I’m not hungry,” he said nonchalantly.
“…” If you’re not hungry, then why eat!
Gu Annan watched her eat the noodles beside him gloomily, eventually he stood up.
“Oh, by the way, I’ve brought back the scarf,” Lu Wanwan reminded him in case he hadn’t noticed.
