“30th floor,” Lu Wanwan confird the floor and pressed the elevator button again.
While going upstairs, as soon as Bai Lingyun answered the phone, she quickly recounted the situation.
“Hotel?” Bai Lingyun mused for a mont, “Stay where you are, don’t leave the public’s sight, I’ll be there soon.”
It was unlikely that she would just walk away as if she knew nothing, so Bai Lingyun had to think of a compromise.
However, by that ti Lu Wanwan was already in the elevator to the 30th floor. She gritted her teeth, wishing she could punch Bai Youchen hard.
His injuries hadn’t even healed yet, so why did he have to run out?
Right after getting out of the elevator, she had so regrets, worrying that she might beco a hindrance. Maybe he could have been fine, but she might endanger him.
Turning her head, she saw a housekeeper carrying a pile of towels at the ergency exit.
“Hello, I wanted to ask, did you see two foreigners co up just now?” Since she had run into soone, perhaps she could gather so clues before leaving.
The housekeeper glanced at her, and with a swift, unexpected move, pulled out a spray from beneath the towels and aid it at her face.
Towels dropped to the ground, and at the sa ti, Lu Wanwan collapsed.

“Just leave her here,” laughed the two n who had just co up coldly. “Does she really think we found him? That guy isn’t so easy to find. Today’s affair is quite boring indeed, let’s go. Soone’s almost here, and it’s no longer our concern.”
The two hurried off, and at the sa mont, Bai Lingyun strode into the hotel.
Without booking a room in this kind of hotel, one simply couldn’t use the elevator, let alone go upstairs.
He used his assistant’s ID at the front desk to quickly book a room and hurried upstairs.
“Why is there a girl passed out here?”
He got out of the elevator just in ti to see two hotel staff mbers crouching down by soone.
“It doesn’t seem like she’s out cold, is she talking?”
“We should call the police.”
“Don’t we have better things to do…”
“Wanwan,” Bai Lingyun caught a glimpse and quickly approached.
The woman on the ground had her eyes closed, her face in pain, yet she seed unconscious.
He picked her up and spoke in a low voice, “Sorry, this is my friend. She’s fine now.”
The staff glanced at him; even though they found the man with the cap a bit odd, they said nothing.
Matters like these were usually best left alone.
“Excuse , could you please step aside? She’s had a bit too much to drink,” said Bai Lingyun, unable to say much, but recognizing him would be even more troubleso.
Luckily, the two staff mbers weren’t busybodies and just walked away.
He looked at Lu Wanwan, then recalled what she had said on the phone just before.
She believed the person she saw was the sa one who had failed to kill Bai Youchen last ti, and it was likely they were here for him again.
These damned bastards, not even sparing the innocent.
What on earth had they done to her!
“I’ll take you to the hospital first.”
“Water…” Lu Wanwan, with eyes still closed, kept mouthing the words, “I’m so thirsty, I need water…”
Bai Lingyun took a few steps and then rembered he had a room on this floor.
In her condition, it wasn’t suitable to go to the hospital; it was better to call Song Ning over.
Holding Lu Wanwan around the waist, he swiped the room card and entered.
