A smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. He bet that if he asked directly, this woman would probably be so embarrassed she might scream, or even demand he roll out of this room imdiately.

As Lu Wanwan took her shower, her phone on the table vibrated several tis.
He walked over and glanced at it, saw it was Gu Annan, and thus did not answer.
A mont later, the phone received a text from Song Ning. After his repeated urging, she was finally almost there.
He called the front desk and ntioned the visitor’s na.
When the sound of water stopped, he said, “Dr. Song will be here soon.”

“Are you…” Bai Lingyun had just opened the door when an influx of reporters pushed their way in.

“What’s happening?” Lu Wanwan stepped out wearing the bathrobe, just as she picked up her phone, she realized that instead of Song Ning, it was the reporters who had burst through the door.
“Go back inside,” Bai Lingyun said sternly.
Lu Wanwan did not dare to linger for a mont longer and hurried back into the bathroom.
Without any ti to think further, her phone began to vibrate again.
But at that mont, staring at Gu Annan’s na, her brain went blank.
As the phone continued to vibrate, she answered to hear Gu Annan’s urgent and chilly voice, “Where are you?”
“I… I…”
“Lu Wanwan, I’m asking you one more ti, where are you?”
Holding the phone, she stood in the bathroom, unsure of how Bai Lingyun would deal with the reporters.

“Which floor are you on?”
Her heart sank heavily. Which floor?
Did Gu Annan know where she was?

She thought of the reporters outside, but before she could finish speaking, the call was abruptly cut off.
Shortly after, it quieted down outside.
She walked out from the bathroom, her face pale.
Bai Lingyun sat with a stern face, the room’s door was now closed, but his complexion showed no sign of improvent.
