Gu Annan lifted his eyelids slightly and glanced in the direction Bai Lingyun had pointed.
“Whatever you want, I’m boarding now.”
Zhao Chen froze for a mont, and when he looked back, there was no trace of Miss Lu.
In just that mont, she had disappeared into so corner of the crowd.
Perhaps President Gu had not seen her at all just now.
Zhao Chen sighed softly and shook his head, “Forget it, I won’t board.”
Gu Annan walked ahead and handed his boarding pass to the flight attendant.
His gaze swept casually to the left, where a long queue had already ford at two gates away.
“Sir, you’re ready,” the flight attendant prompted with a gentle voice when she saw him daydreaming.
He took his boarding pass without speaking.
“Wow, soone just saw Bai Lingyun in the restroom.”
“Really? I’d love to run into him too.”
“The n’s restroom, can you even go in there?”
When Zhao Chen caught up with his boarding pass, he could clearly tell that the boss’s expression had turned uglier.
But once they were on the plane, he felt he must have been seeing things, as the boss seed the sa as ever.

Lu Wanwan had just co out of the restroom and was joining the boarding line.
Her appetite had worsened lately, her als were irregular, and she hadn’t had ti to see a doctor.
Her stomach discomfort had worsened, which was really bad timing.
Just as she was queuing to board, a wave of nausea hit her, “Excuse …”
She covered her mouth and stepped out of the line, but it was too late to reach the restroom, so she found a trash can and started to retch.
Whoever ended up sitting next to her on the plane was going to be unlucky.
But it was not sothing she wanted, especially on a long-haul flight lasting over ten hours.
“Miss, are you alright?” a mother with a child beside her asked caringly, handing her a tissue.
“Thank you,” she said gratefully.
“Auntie… Auntie, pretty!” The baby was lively and smiled at her.
“Your baby is really cute.”
The baby’s mother laughed, “He likes to smile at pretty girls.”
Lu Wanwan hadn’t finished speaking when another bout of retching overca her.
After throwing up a bit, she was gasping for air.
The baby’s mother pointed to a seat beside her, “Take a rest, there’s still ti. Let the others in line go ahead.”
“I don’t know what’s wrong,” Lu Wanwan wiped her mouth and sat down, “Maybe I ate sothing bad, but I don’t think I ate much this morning.”
The baby’s mother handed her a bag of dried plums, “Take this and eat it later; it’s a long flight and you’re not feeling well.”
“You don’t have to go through so much trouble, keep it for yourself.”
“It’s fine, take it, I have plenty of snacks,” the baby’s mother insisted warmly. “Throwing up is awful. If you don’t eat sothing appetizing, you won’t be able to eat later, and airplane als will make you feel even more nauseous. Did you bring any dication?”
“No. I’ve been really busy lately and didn’t get a chance to see a doctor. I didn’t expect it to get worse today. I hope it gets better soon, otherwise…,” she sighed deeply.
“When I was pregnant with my baby, the morning sickness was severe. I still have nightmares about it. You should get checked out early if it’s a stomach illness,” the mother advised.
“Morning sickness…” her eyes drifted off for a mont.
The baby’s mother noticed her expression. “Wait, are you pregnant?”
“I doubt it… It’s probably just gastrointestinal discomfort,” she replied, sounding a bit anxious.
With all the busy things happening recently, she could easily forget a mont of discomfort.
Even though she sotis felt nauseous, she had never had diarrhea.

“If there’s a possibility, you should still get a check-up,” the baby’s mother suggested. “How about your periods?”
