“Director Wei is just joking.”
“I’m not joking at all, I’m seriously suggesting this.” The man swirled his wine glass and took a few steps closer, “I see that you’re friends with Lingyun too. Let him guide you, and you’ll catch on quickly. By then, the money you make will be much more than what you’d earn as a journalist.”
“I’m not that acquainted with Mr. Bai.”

The content she needed to understand involved various aspects, naturally including this director.

It was not easy for her to find this opportunity. Gu Annan was interested in investing in a movie, but this director probably never imagined such good fortune would co his way, daring not to approach him on his own.
Shuman felt that, given Gu Annan’s status, he certainly didn’t need to take the initiative to seek out such minor figures. If she could handle this, it would also be doing him a favor.
