"Other thods?"
After a long silence, Gu Annan slightly opened his eyes, looking at Lu Wanwan whose face was flushed to her ears.
They had slept together so many tis before, but she had never said such a thing to him.
For a mont, he was sowhat surprised.
"Then you go out!" After waiting for a while, he simply repeated her words.
Lu Wanwan had only spoken because of a hint of guilt and seeing his current discomfort, forcing herself to say it.
As soon as she said it, she regretted it, unwilling to et his gaze directly, her eyes continuously darting away.
Little did she know, he deliberately made it difficult for her to step down.
She was annoyed and fuming, her teeth clenched tightly.
"That ’ti of the month’ arrived?" he asked softly.
Her face reddened, and she finally nodded.
Although it hadn’t co yet, it was due any day now.
There was no problem saying it now, right?
She kept her head turned away, feeling her face burn.
Suddenly, he grabbed her chin and lifted it, eting that gaze, her heart felt like it would jump out the next second.
"Why the pretenses..." he teased with a grin, holding her hand, "We’ve done more before, and after a few years, you’re not used to it?"
"Less talk," she muttered, remorseful over this mont of weakness...
...
"Do you want so orange juice?"
"Um... I think, I’ll just go check for myself!"
The voices of two fresh and clear children followed the sound of the door opening.
"Uh..." Little Youyou, still drowsy, tilted her head looking at the still brightly lit living room, then at Mommy and Uncle Gu coming out of the restroom, "Mommy, why were you and Uncle Gu both in the restroom?"
Lu Wanwan quickly stepped out, her head turned as she headed to her room, "He forgot his towel while showering, I was just passing it to him."
With that, the room door closed.
"Brother." Little Youyou struggled to rember, "I recall Uncle Gu had already showered earlier."
Little Momo looked as baffled as ever, "Cleaner than , really strange."
Gu Annan: "..."
Looking at the two kids, he asked, "Why aren’t you sleeping properly so late at night?"
Little Youyou headed to the kitchen, not looking back, "I wanted so water. Uncle, why are you not sleeping late at night?"
"Uncle is an adult, can sleep later. Things to do before sleep... are quite a few," he said with a raised eyebrow, leisurely.
"Not true, Mommy said adults and children alike, should sleep early!"
"Uncle will sleep shortly."
Only after Little Youyou went to her room did Gu Annan close the living room light and headed towards Lu Wanwan’s room.
The woman in bed had buried herself entirely under the covers, not even her head showing.
Only when he approached did Lu Wanwan suddenly lift the covers a bit, only her eyes showing, warning, "Either you go to sleep, or if you’re feeling good, go ho!"
"I’ll sleep." Gu Annan didn’t mind her unwelcoming expression, moved forward and lifted her covers.
"Gu Annan, back off, don’t bully !"
"Relax, just sleeping." He scooped her into his arms, embracing her from behind, "If you don’t want to repeat it, just stay still."
"The untrustworthy one is you!" She suddenly dared not move, listening to his words that twisted right and wrong but unconvinced, "You sleep on my bed, want to feel safe?"
Gu Annan found a comfortable position and casually remarked, "If you’re so worried about yourself, just go to sleep early, don’t overthink."
Lu Wanwan gave up replying, simply allowing him to hold her.
She had thought it would be a difficult night, but unexpectedly, she fell asleep quickly, sleeping very peacefully.
