Little Momo initially thought this uncle didn’t understand jokes at all.
But now, encouraged, he was really tempted.
The small card had sothing written on it, seemingly Latin.
He kept it, hoping it would be useful in the future.
A door opened, and Gu Anjin stepped out wearing a dress that transitioned from white to deep blue, with sheer fabric extending from above her knees to her ankles, her feet moving as if amidst floating clouds.
Her delicate porcelain doll-like face, with a simple, clean makeup, appeared refreshing and delightful. As she opened the door and saw Yue Siqing, it made her pause.
Yue Siqing only caught her in the corner of his eye, causing his thin lips to slightly move.
He lowered his gaze, hiding the darkness welling up in his eyes.
Turning to Little Momo, he said, “Once your plan is ready, just let your parents know. Jinjin can pick you up from the airport.”
“Thank you, uncle. I’ll definitely find a chance to co.”
Gu Anjin was surprised to see them talking, as it was the first ti she saw Yue Siqing chatting with a child.
“Little Momo, what are you all talking about?”
Little Momo was simply amazing. Should she learn from the kids on how to handle things?
If she hadn’t seen it herself, she would have suggested Little Youyou and Little Momo avoid teasing him, as experiencing cold responses while offering warmth had numbed her; she didn’t want the kids’ hearts hurt.
“Uncle invited to play, Aunt Jinjin, can I co see you next ti?”
Jinjin laughed brightly, “Of course you can.”
“Jinjin, Jinjin!” Little Youyou ran out as she opened the door, “Your dress is so beautiful!”
Jinjin crouched down, her eyes curved into crescent moons with her smile, “Thank you, you’re beautiful too!”
“Jinjin, your dress.” A voice as cold as a glacier echoed out, Yue Siqing cast a glance at the woman crouched down, a hint of heat revealed at her chest.
Gu Anjin imdiately covered her chest, stood up, and gave him a warning glare.
After all, besides the two kids, he was the only one who could see.
If she were to guard against anyone, it would be him; if she were to avoid anyone, it would be him!
“Uncle, you invited my brother. Aren’t you going to invite ?” Little Youyou blinked her pretty big eyes.
Yue Siqing restrained himself from looking in Gu Anjin’s direction, his face more icy and suppressed than before, his voice returning to a distant coldness, “You can co together.”
Little Youyou pouted slightly, this uncle didn’t seem to like her.
The attitude towards her brother and herself was different.
“It’s okay.” Gu Anjin gently adjusted her small skirt with a smile, “He’s just not fond of girls, so he might sound a bit blunt. Don’t take it to heart.”
She just realized now, Yue Siqing treated Little Momo and Little Youyou differently.
He favors boys more, or perhaps he simply doesn’t have a fondness for girls?
This perhaps explains why, despite her closeness to him since childhood, it only caused him to keep a greater distance.
Little Youyou looked at Yue Siqing and sighed regretfully, “So he doesn’t like girls!”
Gu Anjin noticed Yue Siqing’s expression grew even colder; he turned his back, “I’ll wait for you downstairs.”
Having grown up in the United Kingdom, she could only say Little Youyou’s seemingly innocent comnt had a certain ambiguity.
“Alright then, see you later!” Gu Anjin kissed her cheek before heading downstairs towards Yue Siqing.

Gu Annan and Lu Wanwan took a good hour or two to co out, having changed into their evening dinner attire.
As they ca out, they saw two little ones dressed in grand attire, lounging sleepily on the couch.
“It’s all because of you, we might already be late!”
Gu Annan adjusted his suit, looking entirely spirited, “Next ti, you can try teasing again.”
