"I didn’t expect to persuade you with just a few words." Gu Annan pressed the elevator button, glancing over with deep eyes, "I’m planning to wait for the antidote, and then add a little sothing else to persuade you."
Lu Wanwan’s face flushed crimson, why couldn’t they just talk seriously.
"You... found the antidote?"
"Soon." He said in an intriguing tone, "So no rush to try it, let’s try it once it’ll surely work."
Lu Wanwan wished she could take back what she just said; for that mont, what kind of magic potion had he fed her to make her say it!
"You should go quickly, goodbye." As soon as she saw the elevator door open, she hurriedly withdrew her hand from his palm.
Gu Annan didn’t rush to leave, his step paused, "Grandma may be angry now, but I can tell she’s only mad at for keeping her in the dark every ti. Once her anger subsides, it’ll be fine; she won’t make things difficult for you. You can be Mrs. Gu without worries."
"I never agreed to be Mrs. Gu." She muttered softly.
"Hmm?" He, who was just about to leave, furrowed his brows and gazed at her intently, taking a big step toward her.
That displeasure and dissatisfaction were written all over his face.
Lu Wanwan was forced back until she had nowhere left to retreat, watching helplessly as the elevator door closed, and the passing nurses looked over curiously.
"There are people, let go." She whispered.
"What did you just say? Say it again?" He squinted his eyes in a threatening manner.
She could say anything, but not what she just did.
Hearing it made him unhappy.
"You still need to go back to the hotel, hurry up and leave..."
"Say it again, what exactly did you say just now." He moved his lips, "I don’t mind kissing you right here in public, even if it’s just on the cheek."
"I didn’t say anything." Lu Wanwan saw soone approaching and changed her tune laly, "I didn’t say anything just now, you must have heard wrong. Mrs. Gu hopes you’ll finish your work soon."
Gu Annan’s expression finally turned satisfied.
It seed to be one of the patient’s family mbers from a nearby room who re-pressed the elevator button and waited beside them.
"Go ho and rest early." He reminded in a low voice.
Lu Wanwan nodded perfunctorily, hoping he wouldn’t be so... improper in public.
She still had her dignity!
Just as Gu Annan was about to release her, his gaze flickered to a bright sparkle, and his hands froze mid-motion.
"Gu Annan..." Lu Wanwan quickly reminded him.
"Call husband." His eyes burned.
"Enough, don’t you see where we are?!"
Gu Annan continued his bewitching whisper, "Be good, say it and I’ll let go."
Since everything had been declared, saying it was only appropriate; it was legally permitted and didn’t count as taking advantage of her.
The person beside them, probably unable to stand this public display of affection, looked at them, raised a fist to lips, and coughed lightly.
"Husband..." Lu Wanwan was reminded by the cough and imdiately responded.
No matter what, she could only go along with him for now.
In the next instant, a kiss was planted on her cheek.
"You’re such a liar, you said you would..."
The elevator door conveniently opened at this mont, and Gu Annan released his hold, leisurely straightening his clothes, "Kissing my wife isn’t against the law."
With that, he stepped into the elevator, it was unclear if he was explaining to Lu Wanwan or the bystander next to them.
Lu Wanwan’s face was burning red as she clenched her fists; he’d already threatened her, and yet he still went back on his word!
If she believed him again, she’d be a fool!
Lu Wanwan gritted her teeth in frustration!
