Lu Wanwan imdiately stood up from the sofa and walked towards the front door.
Before a few people could enter, they were stopped by four or five bodyguards.
“Will you get out of the way or not?” A woman in her forties shouted, but looked at the bodyguards and didn’t dare move forward.
“Madam, without permission, you cannot trespass into the Gu Mansion,” reminded the bodyguard coldly. “If you insist on forcing your way in, you might be electrocuted.”
The woman was startled, “You think I’m intimidated easily? On what grounds would you electrocute ? Be careful or I’ll call the police.”
The bodyguard doubted this person’s intelligence, looking coldly, “You’re the one trespassing; we’re the ones who should call the police.”
“Honey, look at them.” The woman pulled a man beside her who looked even younger.
The man tried to appease her, then imdiately glared fiercely at the bodyguards, “I’m telling you, if you harm a single hair on my wife’s head, you won’t be able to handle the consequences. We’re here to retrieve soone; detaining my niece is illegal, you know?”
Lu Wanwan looked baffled, “What’s happening?”
The bodyguard nodded, “Young Madam, they are from the Shu Family.”
Lu Wanwan saw a woman in her forties, still with dyed blonde hair, looking arrogant, next to her a tall, dark-skinned man ready for a fight at any mont.
Only the man behind them, who looked under thirty, had a slightly presentable appearance; he was dressed in a suit, but his face was also filled with anger.
“Shu Family?” Lu Wanwan sized them up thoroughly, to be honest, she was really skeptical.
In Lu Wanwan’s impression, the Shu Family was well-off, and Shuman, regardless of her character, at least maintained a decent outward appearance.
And this man and woman, both in terms of deanor and attire, showed very vulgar manners.
Undisguised vulgarity.
From the eyes of the man in the suit behind them, it was evident that beyond his anger, he was also filled with disdain for these two.

Lu Wanwan nodded in agreent, said to the bodyguard, “Then chase them away!”
“You?!” The woman still wanted to say sothing, the tall man beside her also looked like he wanted to throw punches but didn’t dare to act.
“Wait.” The man in the suit stepped forward, glaring the two back, “I’ve heard my sister was brought to the Gu Family, we’ve co specifically to ‘fetch’ her.”
“Shuman?” Lu Wanwan responded seeing soone speaking sense, “Sorry, she’s not here.”
“She’s clearly here, bring her out!” The blonde woman was extrely agitated.
“I have confird information, she’s here.” The man in the suit stared coldly at Lu Wanwan, “Miss Lu, let’s not beat around the bush, claiming not to know at this point is too late.”
Lu Wanwan indeed wasn’t currently aware of Shuman’s whereabouts, she told the man in the suit, “Even if she is here, I can’t let you take her away. If you want to save face for both parties, kindly leave for now.”
The blonde woman’s shrill voice said, “You’re dreaming!”
