Arthur deliberately teased her into a misunderstanding; at first, she was shocked, but now… she shows no reaction at all.
He thought that her silence earlier ant she planned to confront him once they were in the elevator.
Who knew, from her expression, that she hadn’t given it a second thought.
“Ask what?” Lu Wanwan was bewildered by the question.
Could it be that earlier, he wasn’t really angry about being publicly reminded of the past, trying not to ntion it on purpose?
Gu Annan’s face was stern, staring at her expression; she genuinely didn’t know what he was asking about.
“What’s wrong?” Lu Wanwan felt even more perplexed under his gaze, touching her own face, “Is there sothing on my face?”
He pressed his lips tightly together, his look toward her becoming more intense, “Did you believe what Arthur said just now?”
“Is that true?” she suddenly felt a twinge of uncertainty in her heart from the question.
“You don’t know if it’s true or not, so you just drop it?”
Seeing the man beco more serious, Lu Wanwan had no choice but to ask, “So, what is it, really?”
He looked away and replied coolly, “It’s true.”
Although Arthur’s deliberate joke was annoying, it was her indifferent attitude that suddenly irritated him.
“I thought it was true too, or else he wouldn’t dare say it in front of you.”
Gu Annan’s expression tightened even further, “You don’t care who it is?”
He was forced to ask her again and again, and this feeling left him increasingly uneasy.
The more he asked, the more he felt he was overdoing it, and he continued to stay silent.
“Who is it?” Lu Wanwan sensed sothing was off and suddenly questioned her own suspicions, “Gu Annan, who is it?!”

“It’s the past, I don’t want to talk about it.” He replied blandly, looking at the elevator floor numbers.
Lu Wanwan was dumbfounded. Could it really not be her?
Was it sothing that happened during the six years she was gone?
Gu Annan watched her expression change bit by bit, and his mood slightly improved.
“Was he talking about ?” Her voice was filled with uncertainty, desperate to find out more.
Gu Annan raised an eyebrow and looked at her dismissively, “You thought it was you?”
It turned out she hadn’t considered it might be soone else, which is why she didn’t care.
Just like that, his previous anger vanished instantly.
“Gu Annan, who exactly is it?!”
The corners of his lips curled unconsciously, he glanced at the elevator, which was still over twenty floors away, and pulled her by the waist closer to himself.
Lowering his head, he kissed her lips, swiftly invading her mouth while she tried to speak.
His arm held her tightly, and as he deepened the kiss, he pressed her into the elevator’s corner.
“Mmm… let go…”
Initially, Lu Wanwan tried to struggle, wanting to get clarity on what had just happened.
But she quickly beca soft from his kisses, cornered in the elevator with nothing to do but hold on to him.
Even trying to push him away felt like she was taking advantage of him.
“What are you grabbing at?” Gu Annan released her lips, looking at the hands restlessly roving over him, “Don’t ss around in the elevator.”
Lu Wanwan glared at him, gritting her teeth, “Am I the one ssing around?”
His cool eyes contained a slight smile, “Isn’t it you who’s feeling around? Keep it up, and…”
