Nora Ainsworth was a little uncomfortable. "Let’s start."

Reporters instantly snapped photos of the two of them smiling brightly at each other during their scene. When they started filming the kissing scene, more pictures were taken and imdiately made the news.

In reality, the photo that hit the news was from their seventh failed take.

Director Cecelia Willow couldn’t help but chuckle. The two of them usually nailed their scenes in one take, but now they were ssing up their first kissing scene over and over again.

"Ellsworth! Nora! Stop being so shy! Hurry up, we still have the next scene to shoot!"

Nora Ainsworth nodded at her.

She turned to Ethan Ellsworth and said, "No more laughing. Professionalism. Let’s start."

Ethan Ellsworth raised a hand and rubbed his nose. "OK."

With the director’s shout of "Action!"

Their expressions changed in an instant. Nora Ainsworth leaned back, and Ethan Ellsworth, with his quick reflexes, wrapped an arm around her waist. But the montum caused him to stumble forward, and he ended up on top of her, their lips pressed together.

They stared wide-eyed at each other, so close they were looking at each other’s noses. The air crackled with tension.

"CUT! That was great!"

Ethan Ellsworth quickly stood up and pulled Nora Ainsworth to her feet.

Chloe Marshall and Zeke Marshall imdiately handed them two bottles of water, followed by their scripts for the next scene.

Little did they know, when Quentin Grant searched for news about Nora Ainsworth, he saw the article about their kiss.

Seeing there was still half an hour until closing ti, Quentin Grant couldn’t sit still for a second longer.

He imdiately put on his suit jacket and walked out of his office.

Charlotte Young, his assistant, imdiately called out to stop him. "President Grant, there’s a twenty-minute eting scheduled in five minutes."

"Tomorrow." The single, curt word left no room for argunt.

"But, it’s not closing ti yet."

Quentin Grant looked at her. "Are you saying I don’t have the right to leave work whenever I please?"

With that, he walked off.

Charlotte Young watched him walk away, stomped her foot, and turned back to the secretary’s desk.

She glanced at her watch. There was still half an hour until the end of the workday, and she couldn’t help but feel frustrated.

She slipped into the restroom and dialed Catherine Callahan, who was currently in Harrowin secretly undergoing plastic surgery. The call was answered quickly.

"Hello?" Catherine Callahan’s voice was faint.

"How did your surgery go?"

"I have to keep my talking to a minimum. I can barely open my mouth. If you have sothing to say, say it quickly."

Charlotte Young didn’t quite know what to say. "It’s nothing. I just hope you co back soon."

"Mm, I’ll head back as soon as I’ve recovered."

"Alright, then. I’ll call you if I need anything. I’m hanging up now."

After hanging up, Charlotte Young stared at her reflection in the restroom mirror and made a montous decision.

A heavy rain began to fall, shrouding the sky in mist. Quentin Grant drove his car, speeding toward the film studio.

By the ti he reached the parking lot, it was almost pitch-black.

He grabbed a black umbrella he kept in the back seat, put on a mask and sunglasses, and got out of the car. The ground was covered in a layer of bubbles churned up by the rain.

His black leather shoes were instantly splattered with water. Inside the elevator, he took out his phone and dialed Ethan Ellsworth’s number.

Ethan Ellsworth, who had just gotten back to his room, saw that the call was from Quentin Grant and imdiately had a bad feeling.

But he had no choice but to answer.

"Hahaha, Young Master Grant, well, it was for work, you know? Professionalism! It was required! I was forced into it! It wasn’t a bed scene, just a little kiss. Don’t be rash! I already gave you a heads-up that there was a kissing scene in the script, and you didn’t seem to mind much, did you?"

"What’s your room number?"

Ethan Ellsworth shot upright. "808."

The line imdiately went dead with a dial tone.

Ethan Ellsworth imdiately slipped on his shoes and had just opened the door when the person standing outside made him want to cry but shed no tears.

"Did you teleport?" he asked with a dry laugh.

Quentin Grant pushed past him into the room. The door slamd shut with a BANG, making Ethan Ellsworth flinch and take a few steps back. "We’ve been good friends for years. Let’s talk this out. Don’t get worked up."

Quentin Grant looked him up and down. "You say that as if I’m planning to do sothing to you."

"Aren’t you?"

Quentin Grant shot him a look. "Do you *want* to do sothing to you?"

Ethan Ellsworth shook his head. "Young Master Grant, you didn’t really co all the way here just because you saw the news, did you?"

"Which room is Nora in?"

Ethan Ellsworth stared at him. "803."

A smirk played on Quentin Grant’s lips. "How did it feel to kiss her?"

Ethan Ellsworth’s eyes darted around. "Don’t you already know? Why ask ? Could it be that it’s been so long since you’ve done it that you’ve forgotten?"

Quentin Grant gave him a aningful look. "It really has been a long ti since I’ve done it."

Ethan Ellsworth burst out laughing with a PFFT. "Damn it, can you be serious for a second? I’m trying to have a serious conversation with you here!"

"I am being perfectly serious. You’re the one with your mind in the gutter all day, alright?"

Ethan Ellsworth was about to lose his mind. "Stop wasting ti in here and go find your sweetheart."

Quentin Grant walked to the door, then turned his head back and said lightly, "For the next kissing scene, use a cara angle—"

Ethan Ellsworth’s eyes went wide. "Got it."

Only then did Quentin Grant leave, making his way down the corridor to the door of room 803.

The thought of her lovely face, etched into his heart, brought a soft glow to his expression. He reached out and pressed the doorbell.

"Coming." The familiar voice drew closer to the door.

Quentin Grant leaned his body against the door. The instant it opened, he lunged forward, tackling her to the ground before she had a chance to dodge—

Quentin Grant’s foot kicked the door shut with a BANG.

"Ah! You’re crushing ! Get off!"

Nora Ainsworth couldn’t push him off. Quentin Grant said flippantly, "Call ’Brother’ once, and I’ll get up."

She was speechless. "You’re a grown man. Why are you acting so childish?"

"Are you going to say it or not? If you don’t, I’m not getting up."

Though reluctant, Nora Ainsworth finally called out, "Brother."

Quentin Grant bead, his face blooming like a flower. "Brother’s here," he answered.

Nora Ainsworth’s expression darkened. She felt like a little kid begging her older brother for candy.

True to his word, he got up. Nora Ainsworth clutched her chest as she stood up as well.

"What is President Grant doing here? Didn’t you say you wouldn’t even spare a glance if I knelt at your feet?"

Though Quentin Grant was annoyed with himself for always acting like this, since he was already here, he had no choice but to bite the bullet. "Miss Ainsworth, you haven’t knelt before yet, have you? When you do, you can rest assured that I won’t spare you a single glance."

Nora Ainsworth couldn’t comprehend how his mind worked, twisting her words like that.

"Do you find this amusing?"

Nora Ainsworth stared at him, her face devoid of expression. "You’re engaged now, and I’m a new actress. If you keep showing up like this, it will create a scandal. That wouldn’t be good for either of us. I hope you’ll rember what you said before and stay away from . Alright?"

Quentin Grant started walking toward her. Nora Ainsworth didn’t move. "If you dare take one more step, I won’t be so courteous."

Quentin Grant paid her no mind and continued to approach. Nora prepared to strike, but he moved first, seizing both of her hands.
