Nicholas Croft sighed deeply, shook the wine glass in his hand as if making a decision, and said, "Whatever, let her stay inside for a few days to learn a lesson."
"Brother, Sophie is young, you should go see her, right?" Evander Lancaster said again after lighting his cigarette. Nathan Moore remained silent, ever since Titus Zane left, he had beco like this.

"Let’s discuss it in a few days!" Nicholas Croft sighed with his head up, "I’m afraid to see her right now, afraid I’ll soften."
"Softness is normal; it’s your own woman, who’s not heartbroken to see her in that kind of place!" Evander Lancaster inhaled a puff of smoke, tossed the cigarette box on the coffee table, looked at the other two silent n on the sofa, and said as he blew out smoke, "Brother, I advise you to get Sophie out early, in case anything changes, don’t regret it later."
Nicholas Croft looked up, set down his wine, and picked up the cigarette box too. "What could change? If I don’t do anything, she can only stay in the detention center."
"Ah..." Evander Lancaster exhaled smoke and shook his head helplessly. "Brother, although Sophie hurt soone, she’s still very young. Kids hold grudges, don’t let this turn into a regret like with second and third brother."
As Evander Lancaster finished speaking, Nathan Moore suddenly glanced over coldly, "How do you know I’m regretting?"
"Sorry, second brother, I didn’t an to poke your wound, just a slip of the tongue," Evander Lancaster laughed apologetically, raised his hands in surrender, faced Nathan’s unforgiving glare, and sighed, "Brother, second brother, you might think I’m being nosy, but as your brother, I’m just looking out for you. If you don’t appreciate it, that’s fine, just see it as nonsense and don’t take it to heart."
He then pressed his cigarette into the ashtray, "Alright, I’m leaving, so you don’t have to see and get annoyed."
After Evander Lancaster left, Nathan Moore spoke up, "Brother, Sophie is still young, she needs emotional comfort right now."
"I know," Nicholas Croft inhaled a puff of smoke and nodded, slightly furrowing his brow, lost in thought.
Though he planned not to see her, Nicholas Croft went to the detention center to see her after just three days.
Sophie Foster was led out by the police, her hair still in dirty braids, the swelling on her face had subsided, but she had noticeably lost weight in just a few days.
Seeing Nicholas Croft sitting across the table, she called out tremblingly, "Uncle..." Tears began rolling down incessantly.
She quickly ca to Nicholas Croft, and only sat down across from him after being reprimanded by a female officer, reaching for Nicholas’s hand and crying, "Uncle, Lara is so scared, Lara wants to go ho, will you take back...?"
Looking at the little hand tightly gripping his wrist, Nicholas Croft said coldly, "After the way you hurt soone, you think they’ll just let you off?"
"Uncle knows many friends, find connections to have them release Lara..." Sophie pleaded, her lips pouting, tears flowing as she spoke.
Nicholas Croft suppressed the pain in his heart, withdrew his hand coldly saying, "This ti you’ve made a huge mistake, you injured soone’s spleen. Now they’re demanding the law sentence you strictly, there’s nothing I can do..."
"Uncle?" Sophie’s eyebrows knitted tightly, tears brimming in her eyes, wounded, she asked, "You don’t want to care about Lara anymore?"
