Sophia Hamilton was carrying her winter coat towards the bathroom when Evander Lancaster reminded her from behind, "During your period, don’t touch cold water, use so warm water."
"Mind your own business!" Sophia replied impatiently, carrying her winter coat into the bathroom.
Evander stood at the kitchen door, flashing a row of bright white teeth.
At thirty, besides the cleaning lady, he’d never had a woman do his laundry. After thinking for a mont, he turned back to the bedroom and ca out with a pair of boxer shorts at his fingertips. Although he’d just changed them that morning, he decided he wanted her to wash them.
Going into the bathroom, he tossed the boxer shorts into the bathtub. "Here, wash this too while you’re at it."

Seeing the dark blue n’s underwear, she unhesitatingly grabbed them and threw them back, almost hitting Evander. "Wash it yourself! It’s not my duty!"
After dodging it, Evander pouted, whistled, and left.
"Pervert!" Sophia cursed unkindly, squatting by the bathtub, then turned back to test the water temperature.
Despite tossing Evander’s boxer shorts out, when Sophia finished washing her bathrobe and coat, she picked them back up, pinching her nose with one hand and grabbing them with two fingers to throw them into the bathtub. Watching the shorts float on the water, she sighed heavily and reluctantly started washing them.
Over ten minutes later, Sophia ca out of the bathroom carrying the spun-dry winter coat, passing through the living room on her way to the balcony.
In the kitchen, the range hood was humming; instinctively, Sophia stopped, holding the clothes while standing in the living room, and turned to look over.
Evander was standing in front of the stove doing sothing, stirring occasionally with one hand holding chopsticks, then taking a ladle, scooping up so soup, and tasting it...
With only one window in the kitchen, Evander’s figure was even more striking in the dim light. The lines of his profile were pronounced, and the contour of his side was very perfect.
His chest muscles weren’t particularly large but quite defined. You could almost feel his abs through the thin T-shirt, and his hips were notably firm. In front... well, his male attributes were quite evident.
Sophia involuntarily bit her lip. He... really wasn’t small, accommodating him was truly a challenge...
Noticing soone in the living room, Evander turned his handso face over, "Hang the clothes to dry and co eat."
It was such a common sentence, as if they were an old married couple.
Sophia snapped out of it, concealing her embarrassnt with disdain, glared unhappily at him, snorted, and carried the clothes to the balcony.
If it weren’t for her stomach being so hungry, she wouldn’t have cared for a bowl of plain soup and noodles!
Sophia thought as she swallowed the noodles.
However, the noodles were pretty good, after all, there were added shrimp, the timing for the poached egg was just right, and even the few leaves of vegetables looked quite nice against the plain noodle soup.
Sitting at the dining table, Evander watched the obvious admiration on the woman’s face opposite him, his thin lips slightly curved. He only ate a small portion of his bowl, solely watching the woman across from him eat.
"So, how is it? Tasty?"
"It’s okay, I guess." Sophia put down the chopsticks, absentmindedly took a tissue, and while wiping the corners of her lips she said with disdain.
Evander raised an eyebrow, glanced at the empty bowl across from him, thinking to himself, the little spicy one’s appetite wasn’t small, as she had finished a large bowl of noodles. He pushed his bowl forward, saying, "Full? I can’t finish mine; I’ll share so with you."
"Hmph, it’s so bad I wouldn’t help you digest it!" Sophia once again rolled her eyes disdainfully.
