"I kindly instructed the kitchen to make nourishing soup, and not only did you refuse to drink it, you even poured it away. Do you realize how hard Nathan has been working to earn money alone outside!"
Olivia Zane’s gentle deanor was nowhere to be found, replaced instead by a touch of harshness, starkly different from the gentle and calm persona she usually presented in front of Nathan Moore.
Titus Zane crossed his arms and sneered, lifting the corner of his lips coldly. See, this is his own sister who always speaks softly in front of Nathan Moore, nothing like the shouting she’s displaying now.
With a slight raise of his eyebrows, Titus Zane’s scoff seed even more disdainful due to his inherent sense of superiority.
"If you think feeding an extra mouth like is a waste, why not whisper more into Nathan’s ear and have him throw out? It’d save food and spare you the trouble of dealing with ."
Olivia Zane’s expression subtly changed at Titus Zane’s ntion of "whispering into soone’s ear."
Although Nathan Moore had always loved her and spoilt her, since they were newlyweds, and she was rushed to the hospital, they had not shared a bed again...
This fact had always been a thorn in her side.
Nathan loves her, yet he must share his nights with her sister, how ironic when she thinks about it.
Olivia Zane’s hatred for Titus not because he accidentally pushed her down the stairs, but because he took her place with Nathan.
Every ti she thought about it, Olivia Zane wished the woman in front of her would just disappear.
But her mother...
"Ha," with a slight tug of her rosy lips, Olivia Zane also sneered coldly, her movents adding a hint of venom.
"If it weren’t for the fact that you’re my sister, you think you’d still have a chance to sit here!"
This was not the first ti Olivia Zane had given such a warning.
Titus Zane restrained his emotions, his charming eyes narrowing slightly as if deliberating sothing.
"Olivia, make yourself clear!"
"Clear about what?" Olivia Zane scoffed, her rosy lips curling with an emotion Titus couldn’t understand.
"What do you an by your earlier words? What does it an that I wouldn’t have a chance to sit here?"
Olivia lifted her eyebrows slightly, "It ans exactly what it sounds like." After saying so, she didn’t wait for Titus to respond further and glided the chair, instructing the kitchen’s aunty.
"Pour all the soup away, my sister does not like it."
The aunty put down what she was doing and quickly ca over to respond with respect, "Yes, madam."
Then she walked over to Titus, sneaking a quick glance at him before taking the jujube and black-bone chicken soup off the table back to the kitchen.
"Aunty Liu, no need to make soup specially every day from now on, my sister doesn’t like it, just eat the sa as us,"
said Olivia Zane, suddenly in a much better mood, as she picked up her bowl and chopsticks and spoke to the aunty who ca back to clear the soup bowl.
Aunty Liu paused while holding the soup bowl, awkwardly speaking, "Madam, the master said..."
Olivia Zane imdiately changed her expression, her countenance no longer gentle, but aggressive and stern.
"What, I can’t give instructions when Nathan isn’t ho?"
Aunty Liu sneaked another glance at Titus before reluctantly smiling and said,
"Madam, what are you saying? We servants get paid by madam, how could we not follow madam’s orders?"
"Good to know," Olivia Zane snorted coldly in satisfaction.
Titus ate silently, showing no outward signs, but he couldn’t help sneering inwardly.
His sister was always like this, ordering the housekeepers around when Nathan Moore was not at ho.
