, Titus Zane wondered, the European-style eyes blinked charmingly.
"Did I say sothing wrong?" A smart woman, even when acting dumb, was convincing.
"Yes," Wesley Foley stopped laughing, but the amusent lingered at the bottom of his eyes, "You said you’re past thirty, but I’m already approaching forty!"
"Oh? Really?" Titus Zane slightly covered her mouth in surprise, her beautiful eyes blinking, her long and curly eyelashes brushing the heart like little brushes, making it itch.
"How could it be? You look so young."
Looking at the woman’s surprised expression, Wesley Foley’s smile at the corner of his lips gradually softened, his gentle eyes appearing sowhat dazed, and his long-stilled heart moved slightly.
Seeing Wesley Foley’s gaze fixed on her face, Titus Zane awkwardly coughed lightly, shifted her gaze, presenting a shy and charming deanor.
Unknowingly, Wesley Foley had a business card in his hand and presented it to Titus Zane.
"This is my business card, the company is hiring now, if you’re interested you can co for an interview."
Titus Zane took it with both hands, her beautiful eyes falling on the card, the ink-black font matching Wesley Foley himself, understated but with an uncontainable sharpness.
She tucked the card into her backpack, thanked him politely, and the luxurious Bugatti sped towards the airport.
Titus Zane felt that she and Wesley Foley were truly "fated."
Perhaps even heaven was helping her.
After they parted at security, once onboard the plane, coincidentally their seats were right next to each other.
"What a coincidence." Wesley Foley put down the newspaper that he had held up and looked at Titus Zane, his thin lips curving warmly.
"Yes, what a coincidence." Titus Zane curved her lips, and when she smiled, the arc at the corners of her lips exuded elegance.
Titus Zane was in the seat inside, Wesley Foley stood up, gentlemanly helped her to sit down, then took his seat.
"Have you thought about applying to my company?"
"Huh?" Titus Zane had just sat down, hadn’t yet finished settling her things, and looked at Wesley Foley in slight confusion. After realizing the situation, she smiled and said, "Given my experience, I’m really not confident about applying as the CEO’s assistant."
"You can do it." Those four words were Wesley Foley’s affirmation to Titus Zane.
Fastening her seatbelt, Titus Zane tilted her head slightly, "Alright, I’ll give it a try."
The two-hour flight seed short because of newfound companionship, and the two had endless topics to talk about.
After deplaning, Titus Zane took Wesley Foley’s ride into the city, the hotel was booked yesterday, after getting out of the car and thanking Wesley Foley, Titus Zane pulled her suitcase into the hotel entrance.
Watching the woman’s tall and voluptuous back, Wesley Foley did not move his gaze for a long ti.
Putting her clothes in the hotel wardrobe, Titus Zane sat down in the room’s armchair, took out her phone, and called Sister Hua.
As the call connected, before Titus Zane spoke, Sister Hua’s warm voice ca through.
"Carry, have you arrived?"
"Already arrived."
"Received news that Wesley Foley’s itinerary tomorrow has changed, you should be prepared just in case..."
"I’ve t him."
"What?" Sister Hua was surprised, "When?"
Titus Zane got up, walked to the window of the room, looking out at the scenery, her lips slightly curling.
"Well, coincidentally, we were adjacent seats on today’s flight to Banyan City."
"Wow,"
Sister Hua exclaid, "Did you greet him? What did he think of you?"
Titus Zane’s smile grew wider, "We got along very well, he even invited to work at his company."
